Adam didn't typically wander into antique shops. But the concert he was to attend had been cancelled, so he was stuck where he was for the time being. Later he would go out with the tour members for a small dinner, but he still had an hour. The store he had walked into was small, and there were very few people to talk to. Adam would just walk around a glance at the items, maybe buy something. As small as the store was, there were many items crammed into it. Glass dolls, old Christmas ornaments, a few dusty lamps, a pair of comfortable looking chairs, a pile of old books....Adam paused by a table with little wooden figurines placed on it. He picked up a tiny wooden owl and smiled, gently blowing the dust off of it. The old man sitting at a counter coughed. Adam set the figurine down. He began to move on when something caught his eye. Movement. Adam crouched down. A man kneeled before him. Adam blinked. A mirror. It's wooden frame had many little creatures carved into it, along with other swirls and strange symbols. The mirror itself had a sparkling blue tinge to it. Adam had never seen anything like it before. He stared into it. His image moved before him, waving. Adam gasped. The old man looked up. Adam stood up, embarrassed. His mirror image had stopped moving against his will. Adam shook his head and moved on. There were a few other things that Adam found intriguing, but nothing like the mirror. A grandfather clock in the corner chimed. 7 o'clock. 45 minutes had flown by. It would likely take Adam 10 minutes to get to resturant he and his friends were meeting at. Adam made his way to the door. "Have a wonderful evening, sir" the old man called. "You too" Adam said quietly, stepping outside.
