Chris grinned at Adam and Echo. "I've been expecting you." he said cheerfully. Echo rolled his eyes. "I should've known all along that it was you that had the final mirror. You, my best friend! Of course, it makes so much sense, now that I think about it. And of course you didn't try to hide it. You waltzed right into my shop and practically told me right out that you had it! Just look at your friend. He's an exact copy of you." Chris pointed to Adam. "He even found the missing piece of the red mirror!" Chris snatched the piece from Adam's hand. Adam protested, trying to take it back. Chris held it out of Adam's reach, stepping toward the red mirror. There was a quick flash, and the red mirror was whole again. "Now all I need is the blue mirror. And, let me guess. It's at your house." Chris said to Echo. "You always were terrible at hiding things." Chris sighed. Echo's eyes widened. "N-no. You've got that wrong!" he blurted out. It was his last attempt to steer Chris towards the wrong direction. He didn't need to know what the mirrors did. He needed to destroy it, fast. "Then where would it be?" Chris growled. Was he really falling for the trick...? "My grandmother's house." Echo said quickly. Chris ran to the door. "Of course you'd tell me exactly where it is!" he laughed, slamming the door. There was a click. Chris had locked them in. Adam glared at Echo. "We're stuck!" he cried. "Not at all." It was Echo's turn to grin. "I just bought us some time."
