"But wouldn't that mean that my grandmother was friends with your grandmother?" Adam asked. Echo thought for a moment. "Maybe. It would make sense...but did your grandmother talk about a mirror? You said you found the mirror in an antique shop."  Adam shook his head in reply. "She never did, but maybe she didn't want people to she had lost her mind. And my parents did sell some of her things for her when she moved into a nursing home. The shop was located in Minneapolis. So if it was my grandmother's mirror, it could have easily ended up there." he mumbled. Echo nodded. For a few minutes, they were both silent. Both of their minds had gone blank. There was nothing more to say, but Adam couldn't just go back already and pretend nothing had happened. So, everything became quiet for a few minutes. "So, what do you want to do?" Echo asked, finally. "Huh?" Adam had been lost in thought. "Oh...well, where I was, it was night....and I was with the tour members on the bus, and they were sleeping. But for you here, it's day. And you're in an attic. So our worlds must be set up differently...so we could...explore?" he said at last. "Well maybe it's just time and where we were. It could still be the same outside." Echo hesitated. "Well, we can't tell until we check!" Adam exclaimed. "Well, that's true. But we're both in pajamas..." Echo chuckled. "Come downstairs and I'll give you a shirt and some jeans"

Adam quickly got changed in the bathroom. Suprisingly, Echo seemed to be a little bit taller than Adam, so the clothes were a bit loose. But they still fit pretty well. Adam waited for Echo to finish changing, then they both ran to the car. Already Adam could tell that his prediction had been right. Though Echo claimed that it was still Mineral Springs Road, and that he too lived in Owatonna, things were very different. The houses looked nothing like the ones on Adam's street, and the street was set up differently. Even the mustang Echo drove was different. It was blue instead of Adam's white mustang. They both got in the car, and Echo drove through the streets, giving Adam a briefy tour of a new Owatonna. Everything was completely different. It was more than how shops and parks and monuments and statues and building were all arranged, it was how they looked. They were completely new. Yet, the people were the same. Echo parked his car at a huge shopping center. There was an informational bill board with papers tacked and stapled and glued all over it. They offered garage sales, and advertisements, and auditions, a few drawings had even been hung up by children. There appeared to be a million papers stacked on top of one another, in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Echo paused by the board. Adam did the same, looking in awe at the gallerey of strange papers. It was astounding. He began reading newspapers and advertisements, and looking at the drawings of smiling stick figures. It was truly amazing. Adam soon got lost in the world of endless pages, untill suddenly Echo muttered an "oh no". "What's wrong?" Adam asked, away from the bill board to look at Echo. . Echo pointed out a missing person page. "Have you seen this girl? If so, please call (a member of Owatonna had written their phone number here). Last seen October 15, 2014." There was a picture of a girl. Adam's heart sank as he reconised who it was. Breanne. The poster didn't look official. It was probably something one of her family members put together. Echo shook his head. "Another missing person..." He hadn't seemed to reconise Breanne. "It's Breanne, Echo!" Adam cried. "You know her?" Echo seemed suprised. "Don't you know her?" Adam responded quietly. "No, I don't. But a lot of people have just been disappearing recently." Echo sighed. Adam gulped. Something strange was going on. And if Breanne had gone missing in this universe, could she have gone missing at home too? Echo nudged Adam, and pointed to a small shop. "Why don't we go in there?" Echo forced a grin on his face, once again distracting Adam from his thoughts.
