Author's POV:
'Is this it?' A girl with Horizon hair asked herself as the dragon inched closer and closer. She laid there, defeated when something happened.
"STAY AWAY FROM HER." A voice boomed and the black dragon flew into the ground 7-feet away from Aubrey. She opened her eyes and saw a dragon. (In the media) "Get on." It ordered and Aubrey got on its back.
"I'm Summer. The All Mage Dragon." The dragon pointed out after they escaped the dark dragon. "You, sweet child?"
"M-my names Aubrey, A-Aubrey Horizon." She answered, shyly and afraid.
"No need to be afraid little one. I'll take good care of you." Summer smiles and landed in a cave. "My wife will be coming in a few hours. Until then, make yourself at home." He transformed into a 30 year old man. (Also in media)
"I'm 8." Aubrey blurted out suddenly. She covered her mouth as soon as she heard it echo into the depths of the cave. Summer chuckled.
"You are such a sweet child. Mind telling me what a beautiful girl like you was doing in the woods all alone?" He asked, leaning on a couch. Aubrey whimpered but applied, telling him everything from the barrier to being into the cave. She sniffed with a tear present on her cheek. Summer embraced her into a warm, loving hug.
"It's alright. You have been so tough, being in all this danger, but it's okay to cry. Someone once told me that crying doesn't mean your weak." He paused and looked at her, pulling her hair that was in her eyes, behind her ear. "It means you've been strong for too long." Aubrey couldn't take it, she sobbed into Summer's coat, letting all feelings out in Summer's arms. He gladly took this opportunity and started singing.
(Start song)
"The moon and starts they wept.
The morning sun was dead.
The Savior of the world was fallen.
His body on the cross.
His blood poured out for us.
The weight of every curse, upon him."
He started rocking the sobbing girl back and forth, still holding her close.
"One final breath he gave.
As heaven looked away.
The Son Of God was laid, in darkness.
A battle in the grave.
The war on death was waged.
The power of Hell forever broken."
Out of nowhere a female voice starts singing.
"The ground began to shake.
The stone was rolled away.
His perfect love could not be overcome.
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated."
She hugs the fragile girl and the dragon couple start to sing together.
"Forever he... is glorified.
Forever he... is lifted high.
Forever he... is risen.
He is alive.
He is alive."
Women:
"The ground began to shake.
The stone was rolled away.
His perfect love could not be overcome.
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated."
Both:
"Forever he... is glorified.
Forever he... is lifted high.
Forever he... is risen.
He is alive.
He is alive."
Summer:
"We sing hallelujah.
We sing hallelujah.
We sing hallelujah.
The Lamb has overcome."
Women:
"We sing hallelujah.
We sing hallelujah.
We sing hallelujah.
The Lamb has overcome."
Both:
"Forever he... is glorified.
Forever he... is lifted high.
Forever he... is risen.
He is alive.
He is alive."
Finally Aubrey calms down and is glad she has met the dragons.
