The Cherry Tree

A lovely little cherry tree pedal

Flittered down to earth

After years of waiting

It's time had finally come

To depart its old wise tree

And for it to start its own life

But the small beautiful pedal doesn't

Land on the ground

It lands in the hand

Of a young woman

Her eyes were a deep, captivating

Brown color

That could enclose you

In its tight grasps

She was beautiful

With a symmetric face and a small

Button nose

The girl stared at the pedal for a moment

Until she finally let go

The pedal hit the ground with the

Lightest touch

But the girl stayed were she was

And tears started to roll down her face

Like a full glass of water with a small crack

She falls to the ground

Tears coming out in horrifying amounts

The earth under the pedal

Continues to soak up every last tear

The girl cries till she has no more tears left

And she slowly shuffled away

The pedal, now soaked into the soft soil

Starts to sprout

And grows into an old wise tree
