The night lay amidst the tranquility like an eye of a storm. The once busy streets were now adorned by silence as fewer vehicles were still wandering the almost empty roads despite the midnight's approach just as the empty pedestrian and side lanes were barren of any people. Some of the streetlights along the side lanes were constantly flickering, unsteadily and randomly switching in an on and off manner.

Stray dogs and cats roamed the empty and dark alleyways in quest for finding leftovers in the trash bins. The night is quiet and eerie as the wind howls leaving the trees swaying gently in its wake.

The once occupied stores and huge malls were now engrossed in stark emptiness and darkness behind secured locks and shackles to prevent any sort of robberies.

The silver glow of the moon shines against the gigantic skyscrapers that tower and hover over the city. The sounds of nocturnal beings were carried by the soft whiff of the wind and echoed around the vicinity embodying the soft tune of nature at night time.

However the serenity of the night was disturbed all of a sudden by a distant siren of vehicles. They turned out to be a small group of police that were after someone. The alarming siren of said cars dispersed as they separated into their own paths leaving no inch of the alleys--the ones that were wide enough for the cars to fit in--undiscovered.

Up on the rooftop of some building, a pair of eyes like blue orbs amusingly listened and watched the distant siren and glow of red and blue lights along the dark alleys. A silhouette. The figure said something but their voice were muffled by the cloak that covered their face and the rest of their body leaving only their limbs and their mesmerizing blue eyes to the world.

Each of their wrists were armed with long, sharp knives. Their waists and thighs were armed with guns secured in belts. Basing from their slender body and the magnificent poise, the figure couldn't be mistaken to be a woman.

Her words that were muffled by the blue cloak turned out to be like this, "They must have enjoyed the show I conducted a few days ago. They must have wanted it so badly for pursuing me this far. If this is what they want then a bloodbath it is."

Her eyes narrowed and beneath the cloak, her lips turned into an upward psychotic smirk. The wind howled once again whispering death to her ears and making flapping sounds against her cloak as she jumped from the three storey building then to the nearby canopy of an old booth before landing safely to the ground's embrace.

She sneaked up behind an old booth waiting for her targets when a few moments later, a distant light appeared to draw closer to her hiding place and once it was close enough she jumped out of her hidey-hole but not before drawing her guns towards the car approaching. She pulled the trigger and bam!  The bullets went through the car's glass window and hit both of the people on board right on their heads. She was swift and incredibly accurate to make a headshot. 'Good thing I bought silencer' she thought.

"Two downs, six to go," she whispered. "And I thought that glass was bulletproof."

And just like that, she made another killing spree to her pursuers the same as what she did to her first two victims. She managed to take down six of her pursuers leaving two left behind.

Her mind was too preoccupied to find a certain corner to lurk and sneak into that she wasn't aware of her approaching pursuers.
