Maka and Kid have been dating for five years, happily spending every moment possible with each other.

Kid sat at his desk and sighed, looking out of his window. "When should I ask her..."

A sudden knock on his door made him flinch. "You may come in." He said as he stood up and walked over to the door.

"S-Soul?" he spoke in surprise.

"Yeah. What's up? You haven't come out in three days. Maka's getting worried." The white haired boy huffed.

Kid sighed, "I'm fine if that's what you were wondering. I just want to ask Maka something but I don't know how to say it." he felt his face warm up.

Soul smirked. "Then I suggest you tell me so I can ask her myself."

"Shut up." the reaper growled.

Soul shrugged. "Anyways you really should come out, we still have a basketball game to finish!" he then put his hands in his pockets and left.

He's right, I need to leave my house. Maka...worried about me? Dammit.

Kid walked out of his room and shut the door behind him.

"Ah kiddo, hello hello! It's nice to see you again!" a annoying voice exclaimed.

"Father I'm going out for a bit, I have to take care of some things."

"Okay then, I'll see you later!"

Kid nodded and walked out of the house, only to be bear-hugged my Maka.

"M-Maka?!" Kid stuttered.

"Where have you been? I thought something happened to you." she whined as she tightened her grip around his body.

He sighed and kissed her cheek. "I'm fine, I just had some thing's to think about."

Maka finally released him and smiled widely, "I have something to tell you."

Kid scratched his neck. "Me too."

Maka tilts her head, "What is it?"

He shook his head, "You first."

She placed her hands evenly on kids shoulders and smiled, "I'm pregnant!"

Kid copied her big grin and pulled her closer then kissed her smoothly, rubbing her back affectionately.

Maka pulled back and placed her hand on the back of her neck. "Pretty cool huh?"

The black haired boy gasped and shook his head. "It's anything but 'cool', it's amazing!"

A small tear glided down Maka's cheek. "We should get going. You have a game to finish with Soul right?"

He nodded. "Yeah, and I'll show you how a real guy wins!" I blew it! I should've asked first! Damn!

She chuckled and grabbed his hand. "Then let's go! You don't want to keep him waiting!"

Kid was then yanked off his feet and dragged all the way to the basketball court.

After a few moments, then finally arrived, only to meet the eager Soul waiting impatiently with the ball spinning on his finger. "What took you guys so long? Hurry up, let's get this game started!"
