Clairence and Korad doesn't want little Zec to know about being the last bajer, but the line has been drawn and Sila is the one who revealed this to Zec.
"Listen Zec, and this is important", Clairence told Zec as she looks him in the eye. Clairence then tried to explain to Zec what a Bajer is.
"Your grandfather was a Bajer, a great and respected bajer of his time. A bajer is a special trained warrior that defends the land of Nego way back at that time from their enemies, the Voljin."
"And am I a Bajer?", Zec asked with confusion.
"You had the blood of a Bajer, Zec and is the only bajer that still alive...", As Clairence turn to Korad.
"...the last bajer that's still alive.", Clairence said as her face seems worried and sad at the same time.
Zec tried to digest and understand of what he just learned.
"Is it good mother?", Zec asked.
"Is it good to be a bajer?", As he continued to ask Clairence.
"Being a Bajer brings great responsibility Zec", Korad interrupted the conversation.
"A bajer is the one that can eliminate voljins", Korad continued to explain. "Eliminate means killing, Zec.", He added.
"Korad, please stop confusing Zec right now.", Clairence said.
"It is not the right time and place to tell Zec about this".
"And Zec, please straighten your back as you sit there, don't slouch.", Clairence told Zec.
"Okay mother", Zec replied.
They are half way back home when Zec fell asleep back at the car. Clairence and Korad thinks too much on what to do. They don't even talk or look to each other as they drive home. They know that this is very serious. They know what to do but they're seem to be afraid.
"We don't have any reasons to back out now", as Clairence breaks the silence.
"I know we can do this, we are not alone in this", Korad replied with confidence.
After thinking too much, they accepted the written faith of their son, Zec. They will prepare him as the last Bajer.
"I should contact Jinks, don't you think?", Clairence asked Korad.
"I don't think that it is the right time for that.", Korad answered.
"All we need to do is to go straight home safely first, while listening to a good music...", As Korad switched on the radio.
"... eat a fine dinner, i mean a nice peaceful dinner and to enjoy the night.", As he smiled towards Clairence, relieving her worried face as she smiles back.
"Okay, ill text Nova then", as Clairence replied .
