The car arrived at the house. It was his them, the Topia's.
"How are you Nova?", As Korad open the car door. Nova gave him a smile which means, everything is fine.
"Hello Nova", as Clairence greeted Nova with a smile. "Can you please assist Zec up to his room?", Clairence told Nova.
He nods and proceeds at the back seat to wake up little Zec. But before he put his arms around Zec, Zec woke up.
"Hi Nova", Zec greeted as he yawn. Nova smiled.
Inside the house, Nova already prepared their dinner for the night.
He saw Zec a little bit tired.
He saw Clairence and Korad a little bit tense and worried as well.. he can tell..
After eating dinner. Zec proceeds directly to his room to complete his sleep.
"Goodnight honey", as Clairence escorted Zec and kissed him goodnight.
"Goodnight mom", Zec replied as he enter his room.
Dinners finished.
Nova cleaned the table after the family finished eating.
"Thank you, Nova", Korad said to Nova with a smile.
Nova smiles back then proceeds to kitchen to wash the dishes.
Nova Orthia, the helper and only servant of the Topia Family in Baltao.
The fact that Orthia and Topia family doesn't have a really good relationship back in history until now. They still kept Nova.
Nova is a different Orthia, he is now alone because of his condition... He can't speak! Very clumsy and can't do heavy works for long time coz he'll pass out!
But Clairence and Korad doesn't look Nova that way, they treat Nova with respect as Nova treat them the same.
They know Nova needs help when they saw him walking alone in a cold rainy night, they picked him up and brought to their house and fix him up.
They try to get information of who he is.
As for Nova can't speak a single word but can write, nothing but his only name.. Clairence and Korad was in shocked to know he's an Orthia!
They further investigate about him, but could not find an answer, even the Orthia from Tambo City were called, but answered that they don't know the man, and even told them that maybe he's not an Orthia, they don't have a disabled family member.
Orthia family were known to be strong and violent, an entire opposite of who Nova is!
From that moment on, Clairence and Korad decided to keep Nova, for they can't let him die on the streets in hunger due to his poor condition and disability.
Nova was very happy and promised to protect the Topia, in his own possible way.
The table was cleaned by Nova, well arranged utensils.
Their faces was eating still bothering Nova, he's not happy to see them like that.
As he washing the dishes, he knows, something really bothering Clairence that night.
He saw it in her eyes.
Finished with the dishes, Nova is about to enter his room to rest, overheard the conversation of Clairence and with someone he doesn't know.
"The resurrection and Zec, when?", Clairence asked on the phone.
'Resurrection? Zec?...'
Curious and afraid of what this conversation do with his little Zec.
He then continued walking inside his room. He doesn't want to bath-in into their conversation as much as possible.
But he could not sleep,
he keeps on thinking.
He hopes, this has nothing to do with someone who he know only by face.
The one who made him of who he is right now, a mute, weak individual.
The one who hurt him and almost killed him before he escaped.
'i don't want it to happen to Zec', instinct and past horrible experience makes Nova tremble and angry at the same time.
'i don't want bad guys hurt innocent people anymore', he keeps on thinking as he lies on his bed.
*Alarm alarm alarm*
Its 2am, Nova wakes up, switched the alarm off.
Went to kitchen slowly, and get some food he separated earlier that dinner time, got a glass of water and an apple.
He must be very hungry.
Everybody still asleep.
He glimpse and checks dark corners of the house for a little bit of time, then went back to his room.
He put the food in the table near the window, then back to his black pluffy bed , switched-ON an old lamp for a little bit of light.
A bit sleepy , Nova started to think if Clairence is now okay and wondered about the words he heard.
It was the first time he saw Clairence acting that way in a long time.
He closed his eyes...
Hearing the clocks ticking.. every second... Breathes in, breathes out.
Tik.. tok.. tik tok
" I wont let you talk anymore, ill make you suffer! "
"You can't stop me, you're weak!"
"The blood that runs from your veins, the ... "
Nova wakes up!
Heavy breathing, cold sweat.
It was his dream again.
He keeps on dreaming that he is being tortured.
Checks the time, it was 6am.
He started to fix his bed, prepared meals for the family and started the usual routine of gardening.
Full of flowers and plants, with a few trees.. the garden was maintained and its beautiful!
Butterfly and bees can be seen around.
Flowers blooming as the heat of the sun touches its petals.
Birds chirping. A beautiful scenery!
Nova made this all possible.
In every corner of the garden, was properly flowered and trimmed.
But then, this day turns out to be different.
At the edge of the garden, behind the pine tree... See saw someone, a kid... hiding... black shirt and pants. He seems like a street kid in appearance.. a little bit thin. Around 10years old. Nova froze...
their eyes meet.. the boy is not moving... as he looks toward Nova.
Nova tried to stand slowly.. but before he can stand on his two feet, the boy disappeared.
Birds from that direction flocked away.
