Today was just like any other school day

Tanisha always made a smart comment about my clothes

Dave the boy I've had a crush on since middle school ignores my existence

And I am the school's outcast

My names Arianna Fletcher, Ari for short

I'm 17 years old, from Harlem New York

I was currently sitting in my last class of the day daydreaming about Dave

"Ari why don't you come and share your answer with us" the teacher said knocking me out of my thoughts

"Um- I-" Tanisha cut me off

"Ion kno why u asked her she dont even talk I mean I kno I wouldn't if I had to dress like that" she scoffed

I rolled my eyes at her and the bell rang before the teacher could say something to her

"Alright class dismissed have a nice weekend stay out of trouble"

I got up from my desk and rushed out the door before Tanisha could corner me with her minions

I was at my locker grabbing my purse, jacket and putting my books inside my locker

I locked my locker and headed towards the school doors

I walked outside and saw him...

I shook my head and started walking home

10 minutes later...
"Where the hell have you been" my mom asked me

"I was at school momma" I explained to her
