Manhattan, Kansas. 9:03. The Pro's living room.

We drive up the long drive up the large house of the Pro's. They have a buttload of land and lots of animals. When we got up the the large garage, I slipped out of the truck. Dreading the fact that I was in there because my beloved family died.

When we stepped in, the Pro's were sitting on three couches watching a baseball game. The Yankees against some other team I didn't know.

"Guys, this is Reese." Jane said.

Everyone turned around as she said this. I wave and smile shyly.

A tall guy around 17 stands up and comes over and shakes my hand.

That must be Grant. I think to myself.

"Hi, I'm Grant." he says, smiling.

I guess I'm correct.

He's kind of cute. Blond, tall, well built.

An older guy also comes over and shakes my hand. A lady with a little girl come over beside him.

And that must be Eric, Annabelle, and Talia. I think to myself again.

"Hello, I'm Eric. This is Anna," he says motioning to Annabelle. "And this is Talia." he finishes smiling.

"Hey." I say.

The rest of the Pro's come over and introduce theirselves.

Out of all of them, Grant and Jacob were most definitely my favorites. Considering they were both close to my age.

Aria didn't really seem like she liked me. She didn't say much. And I'm pretty sure she glared at me when I walked in.

I also really liked Max. He was very artistic.

"Okay, I'll go show Reese her new room." Jane said.

"I'll do it Mom." Grant says, smiling.

"Thank you honey. I'll go ahead and make dinner." she says.

"No problem Mom." he says.

He walks down the long, narrow hall until we reach the end. He turns to the right and opens up the door.

When I step in, I'm amazed. It's huge, and very well decorated. There was a huge mural on one of walls. It was like a jungle.

"Wow." I whisper, breathless.

"Yeah, Max will paint on anything." Grant says, laughing a bit.

It's silent for a minute as I admire the mural.

"Did you bring anything? Or are you just a hobo my mom brought off the street?" Grant says sarcastically.

"Oh yeah. They're still in the truck." I say, coming out of my artistic trance.

"Okay, I'll go get them." he says.

He walks out of the room, and I walk into the bathroom attached to the bedroom. I step in and look in the mirror. I look like a mess. My eyes puffy and red from crying on the plane ride:

I turn on the water and let it get warm while I grab a towel from the closet in the hall. I wash my face and then pat it dry.

I walk back into my new bedroom and sit on the edge of the bed.

"Here you go." Grant says, walking in with my bags.

"Thanks." I say.

"No problem," he says, grinning an award winning smile, "I'll just need a kiss in return."

"Ha. Right." I say.

"Hey, I'll get it!"

"Mhmm."

"I'll let you get unpacked."

"Okay." I mumble.

He turns around and walks out. I walk over to the bags that lay on the bed. As I unpack and set my clothes in the chest of drawers, and hang things in the closet, I think about home. And Gabby, Marie, and Stephanie. How they would call and ask where in the world I was at. And how I would have to explain that I moved to Kansas because my family died in a car crash.

"Okay?" someone says, almost angry.

I spin around on my heel and see Aria. With her beautiful, golden, curly locks laying lazily in a side pony. She tries to smile at me, but it just looks like it hurts badly.

"What?" I say.

"I said," she says, obviously annoyed. "Be down for dinner in five, okay?" repeating, what I guess she said before.

"Oh, okay. Thanks." I say.

"Yep." she says, clicking the keys of the phone she just pulled out.

She spins around on her black high heels and walks out of the doorway. She makes her way down the long hallway.

I finish unpacking and set my suitcases in the small closet. I stare at them for a while, noticing the small engraving on the front. I pick it up and look closely.

"Reeses Pieces"

I smile weakly, remembering how that was my dad's nickname for me.

"Dude, come on." Camden says, standing in front of the door.

"I'm sorry." I say, walking over to him. "Come on, let's go." I take his hand and walk down the hall.

"I'm sorry, Jane. I was trying to finish unpacking." I say, walking to the kitchen.

Everyone was seated at the table, on one end was Sam, Jane's wife. Jane on the other end, Aria, Max, Camden, Grant, Harry, Will, Annabelle, and Talia on one side. Jacob, Henry, an empty seat, Toby, Freddie, Jared, and Andy on the other.

I make my way to the chair that's empty, only for a small cat to jump up in it and hiss at me.

"Sasha!" Jane yells at the cat. "Off!"

The cat hisses again, then proceeds to jump off.

I crack a smile and then sit down.

"Sorry Reese, she doesn't like new people." Jane says.

"Yes she does." Harry says. "She must just not like Reese."

I frown, then cover it up with a fake laugh.
