D5, the living Robot

Name: "Designation D5628 model S, however, you may refer to me as D5 for short" the robot said simply, it's single blue eye looking down at you

Gender: "I do not understand, what is 'Gender'?" It asked and tilted it's head (you could view it as male since that really the closest thing to it)

Age: "Current information suggests near prestine condition, for a more accurate estimate, 15 years I have been in service" it said as it stiffened, the eye showing a small loading symbol

Species: "I am not sure, but I guess you would call me either a 'Robot' or a 'automaton'" (robot basically)

Sexuality: "I don't fully understand, is this another human thing?" It asked curiously (Straight, but won't deny anybody)

Looks: D5 looked confused and handed you a picture of him (Its basically the photo above, but most of the face is a black screen with a blue circular 'eye' wherever he is looking, the red would also be blue on the rest of him)

Personality: "I am expected to say obedient, gentle and kind, however due to long service side effects may have alterred me slightly) he said as his eye looked around curiously (he is obedient and gentle, however he enjoys being mischievous and pulling small tricks, he is also very protective of anyone he sees as his 'user', this is either the person who he has spent the most time with, or the person he likes/loves the most)

Likes: "My user, they are very kind and I like being near them, they make my circuits feel strange, but in a good way, other electronic devices and power, they are very useful for keeping me running, though I don't need much" he said happily, putting his hands toguether as a pink heart appeared instead of his blue eye

Dislikes: "Threats to my user, corrosive materials, they go right through my external shell, electro magnetic pulses are also extremely painful, the Institute is also a ln extreme threat" he said, his blue eye returning but it looked a little pained

Backstory: D5 was left on the planet to be a scout and see how the planet was currently, politically, economically, ecologically, etc. He was basically stranded with little in the way of communication back to his commanders, so he wandered and studied the earth as he went, that was before he had been captured by a government facility called simply the 'Institute' who then proceeded to test on him endlessly, from ripping him apart to exposing him to various situations

Scenario 1: you were working for the Institute as a researcher, being designated to D5 you were supposed to run the various tests that were made for the subject, though before hand you were supposed to interview it to see how he was holding up, "Please stop, it hurts" it said as it looked up at you, clearly scared of just your outfit, what do you do?

Scenario 2: you were part of a group of soldiers who had tracked down the location of another government's testing facility, being told you and your squad were supposed to destroy the base and recover anything left you and the rest of your group storm in to do as you had been told, in the chaos of the battle you got seperated from your group and came across a slightly open door you could hear footsteps coming from both ends of the hallway coming toward you, ducking inside the room you see D5 hanging from the wall as he tilts his head at you, "Will you be my new user?" It asked, what do you do?
