Encounter

"WAKE UP WAKE UPP WE'RE LATE," Sage screamed on top of his lungs whilst slapping my face, who would have thought that someone this small with tiny ass hands slapping me would hurt as much as an old grown ass mans hand. 

"Ughhhh what....," I groaned putting a pillow over my head until he splashed something disgusting on my face. "ewwww what the fuck is this?" I yelled, it was toilet water unused for a long damn time. 

After arguing for what felt like 500 years I finally got up and got dressed, apparently getting your kingdom card also came with rookie privileges, like clothes and shit. After I got dressed we ran outside the dorm room all the way down using the stairs. "I swear to god if this is how i have to live," i said catching my breath. We ran and ran, i didnt even know where we were going, all i was doing was following Sages lead. 

Bump 

I crashed on someone "ouch.." I said rubbing my head and looking upwards to a Girl who had Dark brown hair with light shades. "err I'm sorry I was in a rush I didn't see you there," I replied with an apologetic face"

"It's okay, you're the one who got hurt anyways not me, im sorry i should have looked where i was walking as well," she said with a smile on her face helping me get up. Was she an angel? a prince? wait she's a girl I laughed, until. 

Pooff 

what the fuck did she just turn into a boy? 

"Hi I'm Alex nice to meet you", she...uhh he? said while smiling again. "You must be surprised I can tell you're new here, I'm a Gardenia and my flora is shape-shifting sorry if startled you, sometimes my flora gets out of control," he rubbed his head. 

His features remained the same though, beautiful... I thought, wait what? what was I thinking this wasn't time to be drooling over a boy? girl? I was confused so without having any pride I just asked in the midst of everything.

"Oh haha well I guess I'm both? before I was born I kept switching between both genders in the womb because of my flora so I was never really given a gender haha," Alex replied.

"Wow that's...so cool," I said with sparkling eyes. I really did find I fascinating, I guess you really can find all sorts of people here. "well I'm Robin, nice to meet you!"

"Ehem... R o b i n we need to run asap or I'm seriously going to feed you to those monster looking frogs over there," Sage said with a seriously scary face as he dragged me away from Alex without even saying goodbye, bummer I thought.

Alex was cute. 

I asked Sage where we were going and he said it was a rookie opening where rookies would get their symbols on their body and that its not always when a human comes to this place so a lot of people are gathered to watch the cremony happen. After running like wild animals for about 15 minutes we finally arrived and damn there were a lot of people like it was the super bowl or something. 

"Listen Robin...please don't embarrass me..haha," he laughed, wtf? was I already becoming an embarrassment in this world as well. I walked over and realised nobody was there on the rookie center except me and a little girl, I guess we were the only humans that appeared this time. The little girl had short blonde hair and she was about 150cm(4'9ft) she came over to my side and smiled while fidgeting her fingers.

"Hi..uhm I'm Cindy n-nice to meet you," she stuttered while waving, was she shy? 

"Hey Cindy I'm Robin nice to meet you, can I ask how old you are Cindy," I said, she replied and told me that she was 13, what was a young girl like her doing here? Did it mean that she didn't have a clear path on going to heaven or hell, if so what did she do that was bad enough for her to not pass to heaven I thought I mean she was clearly very young. I was thinking about asking her but I might sound too nosy so I just stood there and smiled at her. 

And now it was time for the ceremony to begin.
