Who doesn't like coffee?
Me
I like tea
Speaking of coffee though, I've recently made an artwork made out of coffee for a project in school.
We had to create something related to scenery. Backgrounds, landscapes, those kinds.
First thing I thought about was to paint a forest concept back ground. But I thought that was too used especially when it comes to landscapes. So I thought of making a small village kind of thing.
I immediately thought, if I'm making this out of coffee I want this painting's concept related to coffee.
So bam, a cafe.
For reference, I used photos taken in Vigan, a place in the Philippines, and France. Perspective played a big role in this, but as you can see I still cannot perfect that element.
Shading this was fun, especially since I'm highly inexperienced with watercolor. So painting it with coffee was very different. More diluted it is, the lighter it gets.
Smells like coffee too lol
Aight imma head out
☕🍵
