The Perfect Match (On Hold )

5. Mission starts

Abhi woke up feeling pain in his head. suddenly reality strikes him. he remembered about yesterday's incident. how he and she drunk and those conversations. he turns and finds an angry vin staring at him.

Abhi gives a full watt smile to lighten the mood.

" drink that, you will feel better," vin said in cold tone.

Abhi without a word drunk it. once he finished, vin came towards him and  sat at the edge of the bed and asked: " so what was happening yesterday ?"

" that... Bhai......"

"let me finish. ... when you start drinking? do you how embarrassing it was, when i found you in that state, that too in front of Disha "

" what? bhabhi was there? what would have she thought about me "

" You should at least have thought about it before partying with pragya "

" pragya ... Bhai, where is she? oh god ! if her parent saw her in that state ?"

" so only Disha and i stay here . now tell me Abhi, what was that ?"

" Bhai.... as usual, the same thing happened ."

" termination ...?"

Abhi looks away with a slight hurt and an angry face. vin understood from his action.

"then. what was pragya doing there ?"

Abhi chuckled remembering about her yesterday's stunt.

"She came to console me. but .... she too got termination news and end up like that. where is pragya Bhai, is she still here or ...? "

" she was,  till i come to your room "

" oh ! i want to meet her . before that i have to be in the office "

" ok," said vin and left from there.

abhi's pov

i have to ask her about yesterday's decision . is she still willing or she forgets.

Abhi got ready and left to office.

" you know right, its happe...." before he could complete, pragya intercept her senior.

"I can understand ..... you no need to explain "

" .. and pragya ... are you sure you want some leave," he asked.

" yes ......, i will come tomorrow and deal with that work. now i have to leave " pragya said and came outside of her senior cabin, only to meet Abhi, who is coming from his senior cabin.

pragya gives a smile and he returned. Abhi came towards her and

" coffee," the two asked each other at the same time.

they laughed and went to a nearby coffee shop.

"i want to discuss our yesterday decision," pragya said coming to the point.

"I was also thinking about it," Abhi said after sipping the coffee.

" so .. what's the decision ?" she asked eagerly.

"I am ready, are you ?" he asked by forwarding his palm.

pragya smiled and placed her palm upon him " yes".

"pragya, what happened? did you got any clue about Aditya ?" asked Abhi through phone, while pragya having a Bluetooth headset in her ear, her hair is hiding it neatly, who is standing outside the narav university.

"I am. coming " pragya said and went towards the car. she entered and turn to Abhi.

pragya started " he was like, the filmy innocent victim, who stand against every wrong. "

" did you got any particular enemy for him ?" Abhi asked.

"no, as i get from the information . most of the professors were against him. but the reason was unknown. "

" do you think, it may the reason for his death? " Abhi asked.

" We can consider it too. tell me what was your finding?" pragya asked.

" Rajeev was not behind the accident case of Raman Nayak "

" what do you mean ?"

"yes, pragya. Raman Nayak case was solved almost 3 months back from his death "

" but the case file, " pragya asked the doubt.

" someone was played in it. i suspect many big teams behind this "

" due you suspect, it was not just an accident ?" pragya asked shockingly.

Abhi nodded . " he was behind some case or maybe some people and maybe that was the reason for his death. but it was just my assumptions " Abhi said.

"now, i think like that too. , by the way, do you know, who are the newly appointed people ?"pragya asked.

" it is a secret. i tried to ask senior but he said ' rule is rule ' the same dialogue " Abhi said irritatingly.

then they heard a phone call .its Abhi's phone. Abhi attended. but accidentally it got loudspeaker " are you planning to party tonight too with pragya," vin asked.

the two got embarrassed with that one question of vin. they didn't talk about yesterday's stunts.

" Bhai..... " Abhi suddenly put it back from the loudspeaker.

" then what? it's getting late, neither you or pragya reach home "

" so ... is it only happen. if we are late " hearing Abhi's different tone of talking, vin finds out something was wrong.

" is she near you ?" vin asked.

" yes"

"does she heard it ?"

" yes "

"I am hanging. come fast " vin said and cut the call.

Abhi looks at pragya, who was looking outside. silence prevailed between them. later the two burst into a laugh.

" Never in my dreams i though, you will do like that " Abhi said.

"do I? its happened "pragya said shrugging her shoulder.

" bhabhi ?" Abhi asked.

" That was wonderful.... it feels nice to hear scolding from her . and it's so long too, i got a lecture from her " pragya said.

" You miss her, right ?"

" Is this a question?...." she asked back.

Abhi smiled.

" you know, i used to wonder about the society rule, where the girl has to leave her own house leaving her family and say with her so-called husband in his house" pragya said.

" then... marry a man who accepts that condition," Abhi said.

" of course......"  

as Pragya's house reached, she got down from the car and waved to Abhi and went inside her house. Abhi waved back and left to his house.
