The Question

Alyssa's POV

Great, Alyssa calm down what's the worst that could happen? Well I could be rejected, or someone else could've already asked her.... Damn it! My stomach started turning, gosh I feel sick.

I walked over to her while she was at her locker, I can't believe I'm going to do this I thought to myself.

"Hey, Em, can I ask you something?" I nervously asked her.

"Yeah sure, what's up?" she replied

"Will you go to homecoming with me...?" I looked down shyly, she probably thought I was insane or something. She smiled, is that a good thing?

"Sure it sounds like fun Alyssa,"

My heart nearly stopped, she actually said yes to me! Oh wow! I'm pretty sure I was smiling like an idiot by now because I only snapped out of it when she kissed my cheek. Her soft lips against my face got me weak in the knees. I was in heaven, this must be a dream how could I end up with the prettiest and sweetest girl in the school. The bell rang, I gave her a quick hug and we went our separate ways, it was last period though and we rode the bus home together so I'd see her again anyways.

Last period could not have gone any slower. I have english last period, my best subject if we're talking about something interesting. But we were just watching video clips from boring movies. As soon as the bell rang I left quietly and walked to Em's class like I always do and we walked to the bus, holding hands I might add. We talked about how we would go to the homecoming, and what we would wear.

I told Emma that we could go shopping later today because homecoming was this weekend, Saturday, cause today is Thursday. I still can't believe I'm going with her I'm so happy.

Today was turning out to be one of the best days of my life that I've ever had and will ever have. I love the feeling of emma's hand with mine. she's so perfect, like an angel she's the stars and I'm the moon. Maybe I'm in love I thought to myself as I looked over at her. If only I could tell her how I feel about her.
