Chapter three

I take a look around the house; two bedrooms, a big enough kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and what looks like a training room. I go back to the living room, all the lights are turned off, not surprising because she's asleep. The only room that still have the lights turned on is the second bedroom, it was her guest room but she told me that I could sleep there since she doesn't really have guests over anyway. I sit down in the sofa in the living room and look out the window. "It's been so long since I've seen her and of course when I first see her again she's attacking someone who could very much kill her as they killed me." I whisper. "Did she recognise my voice? She seemed... sad." I look to the corridor with the other rooms. "I'm lucky she's a heavy sleeper." I smile and laugh a little before looking back out the window. "It's been such a long time and I still like her, huh? I guess I could never let her go, she was my first friend after all." I blush and clutch my shoulder. Tears begin to run down my face. Why am I crying? WHY? I try to clear my mind and I wipe away the tears with my shirt. "This is such a strange thing. I've been like this for two years now and I'm still not used to it or sure what I can do." I smiled a weak smile. "Who would think a skeleton could cry?" I chuckled a little and looked at the shirt. "I need to make sure she is safe, hopefully they won't find us in a long time. Unless they followed us." I shake away the last thought and go to 'my room'. I lay down and look at the ceiling. "This time I'll protect her properly."

As I'm staring at the ceiling I try hard not to fall asleep. My mind is racing, thinking about everything that can go wrong and that 'I can't sleep now I have to be awake so I can tell if something is wrong-' I yawn and drift off into dreams.

My throat is clogging up, I'm sobbing loudly as I sit on the asphalt in front of the school. "HEY!" A girl yelled at me. I'm sitting in the same position not looking up, resting my arms on my knees hiding my face. I hear footsteps of her walking up to me. "Are you alright?" I look up. She was sitting in front of me, smiling, but her expression was still worried. "If you're hurt I know something that can help." I looked away but she put hands on my cheek turning it towards her and kissed my forehead quickly. "I didn't know where the hurt was but I hope it helped." I had stopped crying and just looked at her. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Tiffany, what's your name?" A warmth spread across my face, I looked away again. "I'm Silver Storm." I said trying not to look at her again. "Silver Storm is a long name, I'm just gonna call you Storm. So, Storm, do you want to come play with some of my friends? I'm sure they'll think you're great." I nod and she gets up brushes herself off and stretches out her hand. I grab it and we walk back to the schoolyard, she didn't let go of my hand until we got there.

I open my eyes to the sound of her walking around and humming a song. I can hear that she's making something to eat by the sound of frying and a plate being taken from the other plates and put on the counter. I lay there and listen to her before I finally decide to get up and walk out. She had put some fresh clothes on the end of the bed, I move over to them and see a sticky note on top that has two drops of water on it. "Hey, I figured I'd let you get to borrow some clothes. They originally belonged to my friend but his parents let me have them, they didn't want them to not be used and they were sure I would love to have them. (Flip)" I flipped it to the other side. "They're a bit big on me but I'm sure they'll fit you perfectly." I let out a sigh and a smile. "She's so sweet." I stop smiling "I'm sorry I hurt you Tiffany, I just couldn't let you die when I was able to do something." I say weakly to myself. I took away the sticky note and put the clothes on. "It's weird wearing my other clothes again." I think and walk out of the room.

As I am walking into the living room I can see rain pouring down outside. I see Tiffany walking into the room with a plate in her hands. "Oh, you're awake. I wasn't sure if you're able to eat or not, but I still made some extra food." I looked over at her, she smiled at me. "I'm able to eat, yes." I can't tell if it is my facial expression or how my voice sounds but as I was saying that I saw her smile drop. I walked past her and into the kitchen, took a plate of my own and put the bread with bacon and eggs on it. She put the plate in front of her putting on the TV, I could tell from the sounds. I simply walked out of the kitchen and went back to the room I had gotten. "Why is facing her so hard now? Why can't I talk to her?" I poke the food. "REPORTS OF TODAY AFTER THE WALL HAS BEEN BROKEN SHOWS MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DEATHS OF BOTH HUMANS AND MONSTERS, CAN WE TRULY TRUST SUCH BEASTS?!" I look up and out the window in the room. The rest of what the TV person said just sounded like mumbling to me. She walked across to the kitchen and put the plate in the sink turning on the water and then turning it off. The TV gets turned off and it's silent. When I was done eating I suddenly heard the door to outside slam loudly. I ran to the kitchen put the plate there and ran outside. Luckily she hadn't gone far. I ran towards her, but she ran faster once she heard me. Feeling more and more stressed I stopped her with magic, she gets surrounded by bones. I run up to her and let her go, she turns to me pissed. She doesn't even say anything just slaps me. "Sorry." I say to her. People were watching us from their houses. "I'm sorry I did that, I know I definitely shouldn't do it in this area but..." the rain has made my clothes soaking wet. "You really shouldn't fight them. You probably don't trust me yet, and that's fine but if you fight them you'll end up dead." I feel a pain in heart even mentioning that. "They've not just hurt humans, they've hurt everyone. But if you still want to fight them, go ahead, I can't stop you." I said and I start walking back.

"Why are you protecting me from them?" I stop in my tracks, unable to answer. "Why?" Her voice breaking a bit, she's... crying. "Because I know fighting won't bring someone back." I walk back to the house. The rest of the day was spent silently for both of us.

Wow, what's this? A new chapter and not just an edited old one? Sorry, sometimes I just don't have any motivation or just a writer's block. Sony really have anything more to add.
