The murmurs echoed from the crowds. A vast cacophony of unintelligible noise, all directed at me, the single combatant stood in the centre of a huge arena. "An exhibition match" that's what I was told. That's all I was told. Who I would be fighting against? Only time would tell. I tuned out the irritating noise of hundreds of voices, and stretched in boredom, waiting for the match to begin. The announcer's voice blared over the speakers, silencing the crowd as it spread through the arena, "And now to begin the single combat portion of the annual Vytal festival tournament, we have a special exhibition match."
The second announcer spoke, "That is correct, the four academies' principals have seen it fit to remind you, the public, exactly why these schools exist."
"Hence why Professor Ozpin has chosen mister Noire, one of Beacon's most promising huntsmen, to show you what the role of a huntsman is in our society."
"So without further adieu, let's begin the match!"

The doors from the 4 entrances into the arena opened. Allowing entry to my four opponents. A dangerous combination, Atlas military robots, all copies of Grimm. Giant, robotic Grimm covered in white steel armour.  A mechanised deathstalker in front of me, A mechanised beringel to my left, a mechanised nevermore behind me and a mechanised king taijitu to my right. Four high-level Grimm against one student, this wasn't going to be easy. I lowered my head, closed my eyes and waited. I ran the fight through in my mind, the creatures were different, but their moves would likely be predictable, not to mention the fact that this was an exhibition match amid a friendly tournament, they would be non-lethal at worst, and at best they would simply be programmed to make me look good. The first order of business, which one to dismantle first? The Beringel was the smallest of the four, but the one I had the least experience with, the gorilla-like creature was strong, brutal and unrefined, it attacked with pure, primal instinct, relying on brute strength over skill to beat its opponents, this made it hard to predict, but easy to beat if I use tactics and skill to overwhelm it. The Nevermore was the biggest, it was limited in strength and land speed, but made up for that in airborne mobility and natural weaponry, not to mention its skill reliant fighting style made it a dangerous opponent, but given my wings, I could match its abilities in the air and could ground it if I could get at its wings. Then there's the Deathstalker, large and strong with deadly natural weaponry, middling in speed, but heavily armoured, it would be difficult to pierce it without ripping off its steel plating, though if I could jam something under the plates, I could rip a large portion off and easily destroy it from then on. Finally, the King Taijitu, likely the fastest of the four, it would probably be the first to rush me, its agility would be a problem, but its armour is compromised thanks to this, it would require a lot of attacks to dismantle its complex machinery but as long as I could dodge its attacks, it would pose little threat.

I slowly looked up as I opened my eyes. The blue glow of the deathstalkers eyes met mine and I saw my enemy, I allowed it to enrage me, my rage would control me and see me through the fight. As predicted, the Taijitu rushed me first, biting at me with one head almost immediately. I flipped away twice, avoiding the attack of the second head before it even struck. Next to attack was the Nevermore, It flew by, attempting to claw at me from above, I bent over backwards to avoid it. The beringel tried to smash down onto me, I shifted my weight to the side, rolling continuously until landing on one knee. I drew my sword and stared at the pile of mechanical monsters all quickly turning their attention back on to me. The defensive wasn't going to work, attacking relentlessly was the only choice I had. Spinning my blade into an ice-pick grip I launched myself forward. I sprinted straight towards the King Taijitu, leaping as its head struck head-on for me, and landing my blade in its side, using it to launch myself onto the back of the mechanical beast. I ran along the back of the creature, slashing at it as I went, sparks and jolts of electricity flew in the air around me as I cut into the machinery, breaking wires and shattering metal. The sound of steel striking against metal was jarring but only served to make my rage stronger. I reached the other side of the mechanical beast and unleashed a powerful upwards strike onto its eye. The glass covering over the shining blue exploded outwards along with an intense blue flame from the now empty eye socket.
