"So that's what this was all about." I mumbled. "Alright, give me a few minutes to get dressed and we'll be off." I said, looking at the smiling blond.
"Okay then," She smiled again, "meet me at the docks on school grounds." Having said that, the girl walked out of the room a noticeable spring in her step that had not normally been there.
As the door slammed I laughed to myself slightly, "Damn, I've got a pretty good setup here haven't I?" I said to myself.

While getting dressed, I had decided to abandon gauntlet and gloves for the day, determining that, most likely, I wouldn't need such weapons. Along the same line of thinking, I left behind my sword and throwing knives, simply keeping my dagger, safely tucked under my coat. I wandered into the bathroom and looked into the mirror, I tugged on my hair and decided not to tie it back for the day, instead simply swiping it to the left. Satisfied with my less than thorough clean up job, I left the bathroom and began to wander out of the dorm building and down towards the docks.

Upon my arrival at the docks, I was surprised to be met by silence and emptiness. The lack of students was easily explained by the fact that it was early in the morning on a weekend, however the lack of a certain specific blond was what caught me off guard. While by all means she should have been at the docks before me, she simply wasn't, and didn't appear to have been there at all. I began to ponder the many potential reasons for Yang's absence at this moment, when a light and sudden grunt sounded behind me. Suddenly, I found myself wrapped with an unmistakable warmth around my waist and back, while my vision was obscured by the same force which had tackled my entire body. "Guess who." A soft voice whispered into my ear.
"Hmm. Long-shot but, long, blond hair? Lilac eyes?.." I paused for a moment, "Cute smile?" I teased.
She lifted her hands from my eyes and rested them on my shoulders, while also resting her head on my right shoulder, "Geez," She moaned playfully, "do you have to tease me like that."
"Nope," I said supporting her legs with my hands, "its just fun." I smiled. "So, we're going to Vale, right? How are we getting there?" I asked, noticing the distinct lack of available civilian airships.
"Well, you can fly can't you?" She pointed out, jumping off of my back.
"That I can." I smirked, "Shall we launch the normal way, or the fun way?"
"What's the fun way?" She grinned, tilting her head.
"You go first, and I catch you."

Without hesitation she stepped out in front of me. She was wearing a black and white faux leather biker jacket, with black trousers made of the same material, and black leather boots. "You'd better catch me." She said winking at me, before immediately running towards the edge. I started to run after her as soon as she leapt off of the docks and started falling towards the city below, I followed, leaping from the edge and spreading my wings out behind me. The fire formed an arrow trailing behind me, I pointed my body towards the ground falling into a nosedive and accelerating much faster. I continued to fall, focusing on my breathing, keeping it at a smooth and constant rate to make sure that I remained at full awareness. As I passed the falling girl I spread out the wings, instantly slowing my fall, I pointed my body back upwards and thrust my arms out in front of me.

Yang met my arms with a soft thud, "Whoo, That was fun!" She screamed with delight.
"Just dropping in?" I chimed.
"Hey, I do the puns here." She laughed.
"Where to then?" I asked, "I assume you have some location in mind."
"There's a garage near the docks, can you get us there?"
"I believe so." I said confidently, "Hang on tight."
"I planned on it." She mumbled, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I soared at a comfortable speed through the city, avoiding buildings, twisting and turning through streets, flying under bridges and between cars and streetlamps. Eventually, we arrived at a small lot of garages just by the docks. The second we landed, Yang jumped out of my arms and sprinted off towards one of the far garages, I stayed, assuming she had some plan.
