PAST  VS PRESENT

I remember my tenses lesson

Something happened in the past

Use past tense

Something happens in present

Use present tense

I used to be pretty good in tenses

Never make a mistake

To distinguish between past and present

I was an excel in this field

But now….I’m so lost in the tenses world

I lost my memory of all the rules

I can’t remember when to use it

For me, everything is blurred

What was past, what is present

Is there any lines between them

Where do I live now ?

In the past or present ?

If it were past, why I still smell your scent of perfume

If it were past, why I still see your graceful movement

If it were past, why I still feel  your touch on my body

If it were past, why my heart still sense your soul

If it is present, why  can’t I  touch you with my arm

If it is present, why can’t I kiss your warm lips

If it is present, why can’t I hold you tightly in my embrace

If it is present, why can’t I feel your heartbeats

Tell me time, is it past or present ?

I feel the warmth but I can’t  touch it

I sense the love but I can’t hold it

I see you but can’t get close to you
