Y/N POV

I smile as I walk off of the bus, I can't stop staring at my new disc. The new anime series season 1-5 on one disc! And even though do much content on here... FOR FOUR DOLLARS!

*scream*

My head jolts to the side as I see a man with a creepy look aiming a gun towards Delilah my neighbor. My eyes open as his finger pulls down on the trigger and all I can do is run, I run as fast as I can.

I tackle the man and knock the gun away from him, it slides across the ground to Delilah's feet. She shakes, quivers as she leans down and grasps the gun. I try to hold the man still but he shoves me off and runs at her. I attack him

The man falls to the ground, and pain aches through my chest. My vision blurry I look down to see my wound, I solid hole going straight through my chest... I fall to my knees and hear Delilah scream once again. I fall back all strength losing my body, my senses hazy and my heart racing. The sky swirls above me as my eyes squint. It's so cold but so warm at the same time. All my memories flooding back to me at once until....

My eyes flutter open once again, I can't feel any part of my body and I can't see anything except for a woman walking slowly towards me, and what I. An make out as a chair. Or throne morather, she walks until she reaches the chair. Her hand slides across the stone tile and she sits in it comfortably. My body still aches.

???: "Hello Y/N."

The woman says calmly as she caresses her hair with her hand.

Y/N: W-Where am I?

I stutter barely able to formulate sound.

???: "You are in the afterlife, Y/N. Don't be scared you died saving somebody's life and the gods praise you for that. You have been chosen to live another life of sorts, you will be placed unto a fantasy world of your choosing with a gift."

My eyes squint and my lips quiver.

Y/N: "A gift?"

She nods slightly,

???: "You will be placed into whatever world you choose with the power of Gamer. Am I to assume you'd already know what that is?"

I nod and my quivering lip shifts to a slight smile.

???: "So, would you like to go to a fantasy world?"

I nod.

Y/N: "Yes. And it is definitely going to be the world of Remnant."

She smiles and nods.

???: "Don't die again this time please."

She says jokingly as she flicks her finger and blue light engulfs me. My consciousness fades with my smile.
