Brawl Stars-Expectations to meet-

Meteor Shower

Hand in Hand the couple left the restaurant and began to take a stroll. Colt hummed sweetly as he looked directly at Shelly, after leaving the movie the couple decided to get dinner and now they were making their way to a nearby field to stargaze. Shelly smiled brightly at Colt as they'd gotten closer to their destination, the air was thin as a cool breeze brushed past their bare arms. Shelly shivered slightly bringing her hands up to her shoulders she rubbed gently to suppress the chicken skin that made it's the way to her surface.

Putting his arm around her Colt grabbed her by the waist and brought her closer,

"C' mon Buttercup let's get you warmed up". Colt hoisted Shelly up gently and began to carry her bridal style, Shelly looked at Colt sheepishly as he carried her within the field of tall dry grass. Coming to a halt Colt put her down and laid out a small blanket onto the floor, taking Shelly's hand he laid her down gently and sat down next to her.

Shelly looked up to the dark sky and sighed heavily, leaning back she felt her back hit a hard surface, turning back she was met with Colts grinning face. Shelly smiled and laid all of her weight onto his chest, feeling his arms wrap around her, her face flushed violently. Shelly shivered slightly as she felt the cold crisp air surround her petite figure, feeling Colt shuffle from behind Shelly laid her head onto his chest.

Closing her eyes she felt his chest rise significantly and felt as it slowly fell, smiling she grabbed his forearms and held them close to her chest.

"Colt, Thankyou for today, I'm really glad I came with you today.", Shelly felt a smile plaster across her face, as she felt heat spread across her face.

Colt felt his heart flutter, as the worlds left Shelly's mouth. Smiling he couldn't help but feel so attached to the young lady that sat beside him. Slowly he moved his hand on top of hers, sighing heavily he hugged the female tighter.

"Shelly, You're possibly the best women I've ever laid my eyes on", Colt purred the last part into the crook of her neck. Shellys face flushed as a shiver went up to her spine. Butterflies began to flutter in her stomach as she felt an unbearable urge to turn around and kiss Colt straight on the lips.

The Two continued to sit in silence feeling each other breathe rise and slowly fall. Just as Shelly was about to speak up, Colt gasped as he viewed flying stars within the night sky.

"Buttercup look!", he pointed outward to the dark abyss with white streaks zooming past. Shelly stares wide-eyed, 'a meteor shower?'

Shifting her position, Shelly moved forward getting a better look as to what was happening. Instead of finding this scene to be romantic she felt more threatened.

"Buttercup come' over here", Colt reached out for Shelly, wanting an embrace. Colt began to feel uneasy as Shelly hadn't responded. Crawling to her, he gazed at her face and then outward to the sky. His eyes suddenly went wide with fear as a meteor was seemingly making its way into Brawl Town.

"Shit! Colt we need to leave!" Shelly stood upward and grabbed his forearm harshly. The two began to dash down the hill they were settled on. Grabbing the hem of her skirt Shelly tried desperately not to trip. Her mind was racing with thoughts as she remembered the flaming hot rock that was making its way towards her home.

Colt flabbergasted felt the same way, mentally cursing himself for his irresponsible behavior.

'Goddamnit Colt you have one job, and that is to be a sheriff. You don't have time for romance- or fun...' Colt couldn't help but feel a horrid feeling form in his chest. The town was in danger and he was unable to be there and aid in help.

Trying to keep from being Shaken, Colt sped up and took ahold of Shelly's hand. The two ran back to the town hand in hand. Upon reaching closer the two were able to hear blaring alarms fill the atmosphere.
