— Is she.. Going to be ok? -
Adorabat's voice filled the empty and cold room.
Y/N was peacefully lying in the bottom bunk , with a frown on her face.
Adorabat , Badgerclops and Mao mao were surrounding the bed and looking at her , with a sad expression on their faces.

— We dont know , Adorabat..- Badgerclops answered, his voice being really cold towards the small bat.
— Mao, are you okay?..- He asked , seeing Mao almost hiding his face.
— Ma..-
— Could you please leave us alone for a second? - He asked , with a firm and cold voice.
Adorabat and Badgerclops didn't argue and left the room.

A suffocating silence filled the room , while Mao mao looked at his partner's face , that frown on her face..

— I'm sorry , you told me it was dangerous.. - He finally spoked, his voice trembling as he talked.

He stopped and looked at his partner , her face the same as before.
— You're an idiot , a big idiot...-
He let out a chuckle , his eyes starting to get wet.

He said , holding Y/N's hand in his , gently caressing it.

— That smile .. Your damn happy carefree smile , i have to admit.. It always made me want to smile too..-
He looked at their hands , together..

He started to stutter..

He finished , closing his eyes , while small tears rolled down his black , fluffy cheeks..
— Please.. I don't want you to leave me.. Wake up , please..-
He cried out , silently.
His shoulders moving up and down slowly , while he sobbed.

A weak and delicate voice called out his name , making him jump and look at his partner.
Her frown was gone , a smile was on his place ,
— Is that a confession ? -
She joked , with her eyes slowly opening..
— Y/N?!-
He silently , and happily yelled , taking both her hands in his.
She finally opened her both eyes wide open,

She let go his hands and slightly punched Mao's shoulder , making him squeal.
— That's for calling me an idiot , you moron..-
She said , getting up and quickly hugging him , her eyes already watering .
Mao gently hugged her , placing his hands on her back , rubbing it gently.
A hot chill ran over his whole body , making him sigh in relief , his eyes still as wet as before.
— D'aww , you cried for me... -
She said with a cute-sy voice..
— Shut up -
He responded , cleaning his tears.
