Chapter 12 : Let Me

"WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!! WAKE--WAKE WAKE WAKE UP!!"

I groaned in frustration and immediately turn off the alarm. I squinted my eyes and sat up from my bed.

The wall clock shows 6.30 a.m and I blinked weakly. "Mwoya~ I'm late.." I pulled my blanket and laid down back.

My eyes widen. "MWO???!! I'M LATE!!!"

I throwed the blanket away and dashed into the bathroom, get some shower, wash my face and went out quickly. I wore a white long sleeve shirt and a blue skirt. Then, I put a minimal make up (since I'm late) and I wore my heels quickly and locked the door.

I took a glance on my wrist watch and I ran fastly to the bus stop, hoping that I could reach to 101Tech before he does.

*Time Skips. At 101Tech*
||Seongwoo's POV||

I entered the elevator and took a glance on my wrist watch. "Hmm.. I wonder if she's here already." I smirked when remembered our agreement.

*Flashback*
Eva came into my office with a flustered face. I raised my eyebrows, confused. "Yes, Eva?"

She shook her head. "Nothing, CEO-nim." But I knew she lied since her eyes were glassy. I placed down my pen then folded my arms, looking at her.

"Tell me. What's wrong?"

She then burst into tears. "CEO-nim.. I--"

Turns out, she had to take a leave for weeks because she had a family problem. And she's in a conflict to leave her job for a while. I assured her that it's fine but she's worried about me. Well, being a secretary is a lot of work and she knew how my job is.

Then, she recommended Soo Jin to replace her since Soo Jin didn't have a lot of work. And after I reconsidered her recommendation, I agreed.

Soo Jin then came into my office and we had an agreement. Well, she refused at first since she didn't know what to do but I offered her to teach her about illustration in video games as a return. And luckily, she agreed.

"TING!"

I stepped out from the elevator and walked towards my office after I greet my workers. Then...

"Anyeonghasaeyo, CEO-nim," said Soo Jin while bowing politely. She shoot her smile and it's really...

"Yeppuda (Beautiful)..." I muttered under my breathe.

"Nae? What did you say, CEO-nim?" asked Soo Jin curiously.

I gulped then I immediately cleared my throat. "No. I was just--" I blinked my eyes. "Umm.. Yeahh. Schedule. I want to ask about my schedule today. Come in after this and tell me. Arasso?"

Panicked, I immediately walked away and entered into my room.

My heart is pounding like crazy and I stroke my chest gently to calm it down.

Gosh, she's almost caught me!

||Soo Jin's POV||

I blinked my eyes numerously as I'm confused with CEO Ong's behavior.
"Is he always like that?"

I grabbed Eva's book and looked into the schedule. "Aigoo.. I didn't know that I ended up here. I hope Eva will come back soon. Ohh! Maja.. I have to come in and tell CEO Ong about his schedule."

Luckily, Eva's place is in front of CEO Ong's room. I took a deep breathe when I grabbed the door. "Kaja.."

He gave me permission after I knocked the door. I entered with a smile and he told me to have a seat on the couch first.
