Chapter 11 : A 'Not-So-Welcome' Day

Hearing her soothing voice just made my lips curled up even when my eyes still closed.

A soft thing landed on my cheek and I smiled like crazy.

I stretch my arms to pull her. "Sweetheart, you just--"

A reality hits me when I opened my eyes and nothing greet me. It's just an empty space beside me.

She's not here...

Choi Luna... She had...

I sat up from our bed and sighed. I rubbed my face weakly then I opened my eyes. I took a glance beside me and I caressed the bed sheet.

"It's been a year you left me and our little treasure, sweetheart. We miss you.." I whispered.

I miss you... Choi Luna.

*In the morning. At 101Tech*

I took a deep breathe and flashed a smile when I entered the building.

'Just think of harabeoji, Ha Soo Jin.' she thought.

"Perhaps... Are you Ha Soo Jin?" asked the lady.

I blinked my eyes with my furrowed eyebrows. "How did you know my name?"

She handed out her hand while smiling sweetly at me. "Anyeonghasaeyo, I'm Eva. Nice to meet you."

Gosh, she's so pretty.

I bowed and replied her handshake. "Nae.. Anyeonghasaeyo."

We pulled away and grandpa offered Eva to take a sit. Since we don't have a lot of customers, Eva don't mind to talk in here.

Turns out, she's from 101Tech and she is the secretary of CEO Ong. She offered me a contract that 101Tech needed me as their one of designers.

My eyes widen. "Wait.. How did you--"

Eva chuckled, "Well, CEO Ong had seen your design and he really satisfied with your work. It's very rare to get his acknowledge and compliment but I believe you just did."

I gulped hard and speechless with her words. She told me to think about it first since it kind of surprising me but grandpa assured Eva that I'll be working there.

"Harabeoji! Why--"

Grandpa patted my shoulder and smiled. "You should go for it, my dear. Don't waste your talent."

"But--"

"No buts. This shop? It's okay. Your brother can help me. Just listen to me, okay?"

I couldn't help but frowned in confuse when heard him. And grandpa's eyes were glassy as he wanted to tell me something.

"You can do it, hwaiting!" I whispered while curling my fist.

The elevator opened and I immediately entered.

After I send Jin Ae to her school, I immediately drive to work. I opened the door and my workers greet me as usual.

I formed a thin smile and nodded. Then, Eva came towards me with a file in her hand.
