Chapter 1 - The Crash

Your P.O.V

It all happened so quickly...me and my mom were in a heated conversation about something, I can't remember exactly, we were in our car, we were on vacation and we were on a country road so not many people were driving out there, my two brothers were in the back seats being loud as usual, they were singing along to the song "let the bodies hit the floor", It was on the radio at the time.

I don't have a dad anymore...we found out he was secretly selling drugs, my mom couldn't take it and got a divorce, she never turned him in to the police though, I never saw him since...anyway as me and my mom were arguing about something stupid, her eyes left the road to look at me, we were passing a red light and another car crossed our path...and...all I can remember is glass, lots of tiny splinters of glass gleaming off of the sun, making them shine, it mixed with red droplets of blood and horrific screams of the tires on the road and the crunch of car metal clashing against another vehicle.

And then silence.

Your vision starts to come back to you, you start to feel aching pain pulsing all through your body. As your eyes start to flutter open you lift your head from dangling there and look around, your heart skips a beat when you see your mothers body lifeless, lying beside you. You look back tears in your eyes only to see what was once your brothers. Your soul felt like it had been fed to rabid dogs that hadn't ate for days. I looked at my own body, my leg had been crushed in between the door of the car and the other vehicle. I yelp in pain as I try to pull my leg out of the crevice. Successfully I wiggle my foot out and climb out of the window. Everything happened so fast, nothing even seemed real, it felt like I was gonna wake up at anytime now, I was just waiting to wake up from this terrible nightmare. I limped over to the other persons vehicle and quickly glanced away, Yea, they weren't alive to say the least. I just realized my head felt like it was being pounded with a hammer and I lost my balance, I saw my leg has been gushing out blood and I started to feel as light as a feather, every thing started to turn green and then darkness...and then silence once again.
