Chapter one

Tylers pov

The rain pelted my body in the early morning light. I really regret not asking my mom for a ride to school today. Honestly, now that I think about it I don't really because all she would nag me about is when I'm going to get a girlfriend. "Oh Tyler sweetie your sister was telling me about this new girl in you class. Is she cute? Do you like her? Come on Tyler when are you going to finally get a girlfriend?" It was really fucking annoying to me because I didn't even like girls. I kicked a rock that was in front of me on the sidewalk out of frustration and pulled my hoodie strings tighter around my face to the point where i could only see. Maybe this would eventually deprive me of air and I will die. I guess one can only hope.

As I walked to school the (northern) downpour (sorry not sorry) increased and I just wanted it to stop. If it were a lightning storm maybe I would get struck by lightning and die. Right after that thought I suddenly heard overly loud bass (not the fish you silly goof) coming from some asshats car. I looked over and saw a black jeep wrangler going way over the speed limit pass by where I was walking. There happened to be a huge puddle right next to me and as the car drove through it water splashed all over me. Of fucking course this had to happen to me. But hey it's not like it made a difference in how saturated i was from all the rain. I let out a big groan before continuing my walk on my way to school.

After about another 5 minutes of walking in the rain, I finally made it to the doors of literal hell on Earth. I sighed as I reached one of my arms to open the door. The moment I stepped inside of the building the frown on my face grew even more. Even though I hate this place it was way better than being outside in the cold rain. Before I did anything else I went straight to the main office of the school so I could call my mom since i left my phone at home like the stupid idiot I am. I walked into the front office and up to the front desk where the secretary was typing away at her computer.

"Good morning Ms.Hall." I said as the brunette continued to type away on her keyboard.

"Good morning Ty... good god kid what happened to you?" she started as she looked up at me.

"Well I woke up late and couldn't ask my mom for a ride to school this morning so I had to walk here in all the rain." I explained to her and she nodded her head as I was speaking

"Ah i got ya. So i'm going to guess you left your phone at home also?" she inquired.

"Uh-huh."

"And i'm guessing you would like to phone your mom to ask her to bring you some dry clothes?"

"Uh-huh."

"Well okay honey, you can go ahead and call her when your ready." she says pointing at the phone that was sitting on the opposite side of her desk that her computer was on.

"Thank you Ms.Hall." I thanked her as I picked up the phone and put my mothers phone number into the phone.

After a few seconds of the phone ringing i hear my moms voice coming from the other end of the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom, its tyler. I'm calling because I got wet from walking to school in the rain and was wondering if you could maybe please bring me some clean dry clothes to the school."
