Chapter 10

KARA POV

The last thing I remembered was Mon-El telling me he had a wife. I felt this excruciating pain in my stomach and everything began to blur and completely after that everything went black.

I woke up but I wasn't quite sure where I was. My eyes were just starting to adjust to the light when I realized I was still in my loft, in my bedroom. I had just woken up and heard 3 people laughing, they seemed so happy. I couldn't make my mind up on who could they be.

I got up and apparently was wearing my Supergirl outfit so I decided to change, I didn't know who was out there but I couldn't risk it anyway.

As I make my way to open the door, I hear a voice say. "Girls guess who's awake"

I opened the door and these two adorable little girls came running at me screaming "Mommy". Then it hit me I was somewhere and somehow in the future, with Mon-El and my twins.

I was so confused I couldn't believe my eyes. But I followed along with everything. I made breakfast for Mon-El and my two gorgeous little girls. And played with them all day, I was so happy that everything was okay that Mon-El was with me and that twins that I completely forgot reality.

Reality was that when everything went black i was nearly 6 months pregnant and Mon-El was back, but with a wife. And i had a huge secret to tell him. I didn't know how but i was going to find out what had happened or where on Rao's sake am I.

We where having dinner the girls finally asleep when I had the guts to ask Mon-El the one thing that broke my heart the most.

"Umm, Mon, where's Imra?"

"Kara what are you talking about, who's Imra?"

"Mon-El you left for 6 months and when you returned, you came back with a wife"

"Kara what are you talking about, I have never left you nor the twins and I would never come back with a wife. Kara are you sure you are okay"

"Mm yeah, yeah I'm okay I just think I need to rest it's been a long day"

"Go ahead get some rest I'll clean up"

I made my way to my bedroom when all of it start to hit me, I was somehow stuck in a reality where Mon-El never left.

And even though I loved this so much, this wasn't my reality I had to go back to my reality. The one where Mon-El did leave and where he came back with a wife and I was still pregnant with his twins.

I was too tired to continue thinking that I felt my body giving up on me, I felt so tired, I actually felt like I could die and nothing would happen.

That's when I saw this beaming white light.....
