Charity Event

Niya Pov:
It was now time for the event to begin and I was no where ready after spending basically the whole day with Trinity. She was supposed to be doing my makeup but we was so busy laughing at people at the Wax place we got so caught up it was 8:00 and the only thing I had done was my face.

As Trinity started curling my hair I started to think about Justin. I wonder if he was going to be there. Well i mean he should be there mostly everyone was going to come. Not that i wanted him there or anything or not that i needed him there or- I don't know maybe i did hope for them to be there.

RING RING RING ---- RING RING RING

Just at the right moment my phone started to ring taking me out of my thoughts I looked up and seen it said

Mr. Parker

I jumped up a little and almost had my ear burnt up.

"if you don't wanna have a big ass bandaid on your ear tonight i'll advise you to not do that again."

I stayed siting, still looking at the phone ring. Why did the universe work in fucked up ways?

finally gaining confidence i answered the phone.

"Um- hello Mr. parker how can i help you?"

" Ms. smith um yes hello."

he voice seemed shaky like he was being forced to talk.

"I just wanted to call you and tell you that a lot of potential buyers will be at your parents charity event tonight and I will need you to come to my table at a point of time too listen to the business with me if your not to busy."

"Yes sir whenever you need me i'll be there."

I faced palmed myself I sounded like a teenage girl.

I know he knew i sounded like one too because I heard a light chuckle coming out the other end.

And honestly it was beautiful .

After that we said our goodbyes and hung up. I don't know why i felt so nervous when we spoke its not like i like him or anything. i have a boyfriend who loves me and who I love as well. Even if I didn't date Trey, Justin is my boss and that's all he will ever be.

"What did he want? "

i forgot Trinity was still behind me, lucky i didn't say my feelings aloud.

"just work stuff he wants me to do tonight."

"He's a jerk and now he's making you do work on a day that supposed to be no work? ohh no hunny he doing way too much." we both chucked but she did have a point even though i didn't care about working.

About five minutes later she told me to get up and put my clothes on. I lotion my body up and put on my dress and shoes.

"GIRLLL oh my !" i couldn't understand the look on Trinity face when she said that but when i look in the mirror i could understand what she meant.

I look beautiful, sexy , gorgeous, all of the above.

"Thank you so much Trinity you're the best friend ever."

"No problem babe now go outside Trey and your limousine is waiting for you and remember your words for the speech okay" and with that we said our goodbyes and i went outside i wasn't worried about locking up or cleaning because i know Trinity would do it for me.
