The next morning, Snowpaw felt Flamepaw nudging her awake.

"What do you want?" Snowpaw asked drowsiliy.

"Wake up." Flamepaw mewed.

"No. Just five more minuets." Snowpaw said, snuggling deeper into her moss nest.

"It's time for training, WAKE UP!" Flamepaw hissed.

"Alright, alright." Snowpaw got up, and padded out of the den. Silverstripe was waiting for her.

"I see you're awake." Silverstripe mewed. "Did you get a good sleep?" At hearing her metor's words, Snowpaw perked up.

"Let's get on with the tour, I'm super exited!" Snowpaw happily meowed.

"Okay good. First, we'll go to the medicine den." Silverstipe told her. They padded over to the den. Inside, it smelled of many herbs, roots, and other plants.

"You know the medicine cat, Jadepool, right?" Silverstripe asked, gesturing to the cream colored tabby near them.

"Hi. You're Snowkit, right?" Jadepool mewed.

"SnowPAW." Snowpaw corrected.

Sorry. It's just, the last time i saw you, you were about two moons old." Jadepool said.

"Let's move on with the tour. Bye Jadepool!" Silverstripe meowed."Next, the great oak. You pretty much know everything else." The great oak was a monument to the ForestClan cats. It was huge.

"Woah." Snowpaw mewed. "Does anything live in it?"

"No." Silverstripe said.

"Fox dung." Snowpaw mewed. "Can we go hunt?" The sun was in the middle of the sky.

"Yes, but I must show you first." Silverstripe dropped into a crouch. "Do you hear that?" She whispered.

"Yes I do." Snowpaw whispered back. A rustling noise was heard, as a mouse popped it's pink nose out. Silverstipe pouced on it before it could get away. She bit into the mouse's neck, and killed it.

"That was so cool!" Snowpaw mewed exitedly. "Can I try?"

"Sure." Snowpaw mimicked the move that Silverstripe demonstrated. She heard a mouse, and as soon as it popped it's head out, Snowpaw pounced. She bit into the mouse's neck, and killed her first prey.

"Well done!" Silverstripe mewed.

By the time they were done hunting, the sun was slowly sinking behind the trees.

"You must go sleep. It's getting late."

Snowpaw nodded, as she padded away to the apprentice's den. She lay down in her nest, and sleep took over.
