The Time I Fell In Love!

Homecoming

It was finally here! Homecoming! I was so excited, and for some reason nervous about this week! If I remember correctly, I believe it was Tuesday when things started getting complicated. I talked to Dalton that morning, went to theater, and now it was time for Career Prep. At this point I really liked Dalton, but I didn't think he even noticed. The day was pajama day, and like I've always done on pajama dats, I brought Lotso Huggin Bear with me, the bear from Toy Story. As I'm minding my business and looking at my phone I hear an unfamiliar voice say " I like the bear" I look up to see that it was the boy who sat at the table next to mine on my second day. I said "thank you" and gave him a grin. I continued through my day as normal, because other than that little bit, it was normal.

The next day I did the same thing, I talked to Dalton, then went to Career Prep because it was a Wednesday. When I got in there the teacher was trying to show everyone how to use a certain application on our Chromebooks, I was able to figure it out easily, but not everyone was able to. I helped LEAH first because she was at my table. When I finished I heard the boy who commented about my bear yesterday. "Hey, do you mind helping me figure this out"  of course I didn't mind! I got up and went to his table, I quickly showed him what I did and returned to my table. Well it was long after that that he needed my help again, so this time to avoid having to move again, I grabbed my stuff and sat at his table the rest of class. He and I talked and I found out his name was Will Benson. The rest of class flew by, and before I knew it I had to go to the next class.

MTwo days later, it was Friday. The last day of homecoming, I was still talking to Dalton in the mornings and I still really liked him! When I went to second period, I went and sat with Will. I made up an excuse to sit with him by saying I was sitting there in case he had any other problems. He laughed at me and said okay. He and I started talking and he asked if had pictures of the workbook answers we had. I told him I did and he asked him to send the to me. I said, "I would, but, I don't really have a way to do that!" He then gave me his number and I texted him the pictures. Leah came into the room and saw that I was sitting with him and came and sat there as well. There was a pep rally that day, and at that time, I had no one to sit with. I started talking to Leah about the pep rally and she told me she was already planning to sit with someone else. In pep rally's you have to sit with your grade, and I had no idea where my grade's section was! Well, Will heard me talking to Leah and said "hey, if you need someone to sit with at the pep rally, sit with me! I was planning on seeing if my dad could check me out, but if you need someone to sit with I will stay." I told him he didn't have to do that but he insisted! Not long after, class was over and we parted ways.
I went through the day and finally it was pep rally time! I text Will to find out where he was, he told me, and I was able to find him, after of course getting lost for a second! The pep rally was fun, he and I laughed the whole time, sometimes at each other, sometimes at the events, and sometimes at noting at all. It almost seemed like the pep rally was over too soon! We were all dismissed and he and I walked out together. He turned to me and said "hey, so um, I may get bored and text you, just a heads up." I smiled and said "okay" then we parted ways for the weekend.
