The ugly duckling was teased
But became a swan to it's avail
That could never happen to me
It's nothing more than a fairytale
The worse story ever
Wish I never read it
This book full of lies
Called the "Ugly Duckling"
This book is the cruelest thing
that could ever be done to me
It gave me hope that I could be beautiful
But it's a fairytale
Fairytales aren't real
It's as fake as my beauty
The ugly duckling gets teased
Teased by beautiful ducks
But one day
the duck becomes a beautiful swan
Mama got me the book
Says it's her favorite
That's because she's already a swan
When I was done with the book
I cried angry tears
Tears so hot it could fuel a volcano
Throwing the book in the fireplace
Only brought me more despair
I just threw my only hope
into the fire
My flame of light
In a world of darkness
Destroyed by one if it's own
Why must I be a homely ugly duckling?
