Chapter 1

For Diamonds and Petals
the welcoming ball

Gather around children, let me weave you a tale.

This entrancing story is about a group of inhuman youth, who fight to win the duel of their sides 

There is a side of light, and a side of dark, both held in the same academy, though they study different forms of magic

We will not tell you about all the students attending this cursed school, only a few select ones that have peaked our interest

Today, we will be retelling the story of the welcoming ball of 1922, a night full of excitement and fear

You will be living this story, but what role will you take on? A hero, or a villain?

Well, it doesn't matter, because here at the academy, rules are no longer existent

Instead, it is purely chaos.

Before we begin this story, an event has to trigger the emotions of each of our characters.

Be warned, this one is in fact frightening, and you will figure out just why that is in a few short moments

In the meantime, put on your best formal attire, as this ball is one to be remembered for the ages

It's the first one the academy has held in years, so of course everyone is in high spirits, but how long will that last?

Get ready, because it's about to get peculiar
