The Alpha and The Assassin

Chapter 3- "Lady Mouth"

I was beyond furious. I was internally screaming at myself for choosing this seat. I decided the only way to get through this flight was to get my earbuds out and listen to the playlist i made for this flight earlier, and close my eyes to relax.

As we took off, i heard someone calling my name, i opened my eyes and looked to my left, past the alpha that sat next to me and saw two familiar faces. It was Lori and Jess. We used to hangout all the time before my father passed.. i had distant myself from a lot of people after he passed. I felt tears threatening to spill in my eyes after i saw them. Lori had a huge grin on her face while Jess was on the verge of tears like i was.

"well, well, well...look at this. If it isn't Fallon Ellington in the flesh", Lori said with a huge grin on her face.  I couldn't help but giggle at this. Jess had finally broke into tears. Lori gave her a punch in the shoulder and mumbled something like "woman up". Jess finally stopped crying and unbuckled her seat belt only to give me a huge hug. The alpha growled as he seemed furious with her actions with her but in his face as she gave me her hug.

She then returned to her seat next to Lori and said," God i have missed u so much,bitch! How are you? we haven't talked in forever! i think it was some time after your father Alpha Jordan passed that we stopped hanging out..". i held my emotions down after she mentioned my fathers death. I wanted to jump out of this plane and scream. I didn't even realize i was speaking when i said, " Yeah its been too long. I have just been training and busy with things."

The flight attendant had finally made its way to us Lori said her order first." okay now, here's what i want. Let me get three shots of whiskey with a coke to chase. Coke zero though, i'm watching my figure", she said with a small wink. The alpha looked at her if she was crazy. i had a little laugh trying to escape when jess said," Lori u do realize this is only an 1 and a half flight." she said with caution.  Lori then looked back at the flight attendant and said," oh well in that case, let me go ahead and get those three shots now, and then bring me another shot later once we get those others kicking in." we all looked at her in surprise as she added another shot.  "I just want a glass of water", Jess mentioned. The flight attendant then looked at me and said," what would u like?" I then responded," can i get a coke with rum?" She then wrote down my order responded with,"yes". I gave her a small smile. The alpha just shook his head as in saying he didn't want anything.

As the flight attendant walked off, Lori screamed, "Oh and lemme get a cherry coke"! the flight attendant rolled her eyes. Jess and I were laughing so hard at this point. I then shot Lori and dirty look, while i had a huge grin and said," Lori,can we just bring it down a notch?" She then had a look of amusement on her face and said," Oh, can't we get some dick this weekend". i then choked on something, i didn't know what it was, but i was coughing so hard to where i was wheezing. Jess was having a hard time breathing with how hard she was laughing.  The alpha just sat there with a little hint of a smile on his face. One seat back were his beta and gamma and they were laughing, i could tell that they were mind-linking with each other. I then gained my composure again and looked at Lori and said,"you know what im going to need u to use your lady mouth". i said with a wicked smile on my face.  Lori then balled her fist and brought it to her mouth bringing it up and down and said," ima need u to use your lady mouth." Jess and i then began laughing so hard we were crying. The  gamma was roaring at this. I can see him and his buddies were having a good mind-link. The flight attendant then brought us our drinks and i then continued our chat through mind-linking each other until the flight landed.

We reached baggage claim and then headed to the limo waiting for me.  We got in and had some champagne and had a toast to "Finding our mate this year at the gala". When we pulled up to the hotel i could see palm trees and the beautiful ocean. It was a very nice hotel. We then collected our bags and headed in. We signed in and realized we all had rooms next to each other. Everyone had their own individual room. This hotel was designed for the gala only. There was a woman and male hall. I guess u could say it was like a dorm. The walls were also sound-proof for "mating". As we headed to our rooms- heading our separate ways i decided to unpack and head to the big shower area. The welcoming dinner began in about an hour so i had to hurry. I decided to wear black  jeans with rips gong up and down them with a pink silk tank with black lace on the top and bottom. I then put on some low heels that were white. i left my long red hair down while i put on some makeup to bring out my features.

I then heard a knock at my door, i opened the door and there stood Jess and Lori dressed and ready to go. We made our way down and went outside where we would be dining. I then saw my uncle jay and decided to head over and say hello. I saw him with my cousin, Lizzy. A wave of hurt and jealousy washed over me. My dad passed from a fire. It was said that it was caused by rouges. But that information just never settled with me. something told me it was not true. I had always disliked my uncle, but it only increased when he took over my fathers place as Alpha. My uncle had noticed me heading over with a stern face and sat a little straighter. I'm sure the other alphas sitting next to him noticed his actions.  I looked at him and said," Hello Uncle" i then looked at Lizzy who stood next to him and nodded to her. She looked uncomfortable. I was only a few years older than her but i still made her feel like she was beneath me. Which i found amusing. My uncle then responded with," Well hello Fallon. Nice seeing u here. Are u looking forward to finding your mate"? I then turned my body to look back and the huge dining area where every was piling in. I then turned my eyes back to my uncle and said," Well i wouldn't really use the term, "looking forward too", as i can only expect that he is not here". My uncle had a small wicked grin on his face as he spoke," And why is that? U think that since u were once in line of becoming Luna of the pack after your father, u still believe that your mate is some how ranked anything from a gamma or higher? U may have once been in line of being Luna but now u are merely a common she-wolf darling. Your cousin, Lizzy, will become Luna of the pack soon after finding her mate".

I had kept my emotions down. Lizzy was not worthy of becoming Luna. She was selfish and had no ability to protect her self, let alone a pack. I knew my mate wasn't a common wolf. I knew that for certain. I will make sure my pack is protected at all cost.

I then looked at my uncle and said," You may think anything u want to Uncle, as i know it must help u sleep at night." I then looked at Lizzy and said," and as for u cousin, i hope dearly u learn to think of others than yourself one day". I then saw my uncles face go completely red. "If you will excuse me i have somewhere to be, you two enjoy your dinner". I said wickedly. I realized all the alphas were there except one, Maximus Knight. All the Alphas, Luna's, Beta, and gammas all got to sit on a platform and act like royalty. while everyone else got to sit at the tables below and eat.  I made my way down and walked around trying to find Lori and Jess. 

I then saw them talking to a few guys while sitting down at the table. As i made my way towards them I made a sharp turn and ended up knocking into a hard chest. I looked up and found that damn Alpha looking down at me. He still had his sunglasses on. I heard him growl. oh moon goddess how worse could this day be? Then all of a sudden I heard a gunshot. I then felt a wave of pain hit me, i look down and saw my leg had been shot. I could smell the wolfs bane coming from the silver bullet. I was so angry. I looked at where the gunshot came from but before I could put a face to the person I fell backwards. The Alpha caught me before i fell to the ground, he was growling so loudly the room erupted into chaos and confusion. He picked me up bridal style and i felt  comfortable and safe for some odd reason. Before i could mutter a thank you, i blacked out. The Darkness inviting me with open arms, and i was gone.
