Chapter 1 The news

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I slam my hand on my alarm and squint my eyes. It was 6:15am i get up and head to the shower. I take out my iphone 5c and put some music on. 12min later. I finish up and dry my hair and wrap my towel around my waist and go to my walk in closet i pull out a white and light blue checkered long-sleeve button levi shirt and a plain white t-shirt, a black levi pants and a pair of grey converse.

I put my clothes on and grab my backpack and walk down to the kitchen. I walk to the fridge and pull out a hot pocket and put it in the microwave. I then grab some orange juice as my hot pocket finishes. I then eat my breakfast and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and gel my hair. I go outside and wait for the bus. I pull my phone out and check my twitter. I see that FC Barcelona had posted a tweet saying that they were going to have try outs for there new squad here in the U.S and other countries. I start jumping in happiness when i then relies that the try outs were today after school. The bus then arrives and i get on and head to the back and see my friend Izayah he was had darkish lightish skin, and dark eyes.

"Hey izayah whats up" i say smiling. "Hey ish nothing much just you know heading to old boring school" he says as we laugh." So you hear about the news" i ask him." No whats the news" he says curiously.

"Well someone from Barça is coming to do tryouts here in Sheboygan" i say excited." And they're today after school"i say." What really i'm going to go to those try outs"he says." Well there gonna want the whole team to come" i say." Well i know for one thing is that you're going to pass tryouts" he says." I mean you got them dribbling skills like Messi and neymar" he says. "I don't know i hope i pass" i say. The bus then reaches school and we head to our lockers.

I grab my books and binder for language arts and start walking. I pass by katie." Hey ish" she says giving me a smile."hey katie" i say but just continue walking."hey ish how you holding up"says tony my other friend he was the same as Izayah. " hey im good" i say back looking at the ground. Katie was my ex-girlfriend she had dumped me because she said she had stopped loving me. I didn't hate her in fact i still love her its just that i don't know if i should give up on her or not. The one think i kept thinking about was what was the real reason she did it or was that just really it. I didnt know but i have to keep my mind clear for today for tryouts. It just sucks that she will be there too becuase she plays for the girls team and is the second captain.

I finish up my last class and head to the locker room to get my gear. The room was filled with all the guys. I get to my locker, number 10. I take out my practice shirt, my adidas shorts and my Adizero f50 Messi cleats. I also get my team shirt out too because we also had a game today." Hey ish you ready for tryouts and the game" tony says." Yea i am what about you" i say as i pull out my captain band. We get ready as they have us come out as if it was a real game. I come out first then ben our goalkeeper then izayah, brock, cameron, aniba, randy, austin, jonathen, tony, and hazel. That was our team well the first 11 the others were coming out too but i didn't know many of there names very well.

Then the girls Katie because she the captain for todays match. There goal keeper and other girls i only knew tori and Katie from there team."hi ish" she says turning to give me a smile. Dam i had no way out this time. Her smile was the best it always cheered me up. Focus ish focus." Hey katie" i say fake smiling. "Ish whats wrong i know that was a fake smile" she says. Dam she really knew when i did that."Katie you know whats wrong"i say in an annoyed tone." Look i said I'm sorry ok what else do you want" she says."i want you, you know that i love you still" i say.

"Well I'm sorry i don't anymore and I'm never going to date you again ok so just stop" she says. My heart skipped a beat no 4 beats."you know what forget it I'm done" i say as the coach tell us to go to the other side of the field. Thank god i think to my self. "Alright boys this is Leonardo Mendez he is the man that was sent from Barça. He will put you all to hard work to see if you have what it takes to play for their team" the coach says." Ish your up first since your captain" he says. I nod my head and get up and walk with Leonardo." Hola so i will have you and the girl from their team play a 1v1 till 2 goals you will have to show all your skills and talent" he says. He sounded like he was Messi. But i couldn't tell due to the fact he had glass and a hat. Just then Katie comes over. I also then notice that ben and the girls goalkeeper went to the nets." Hola im Leonardo you must be Katie ok so you will go against ish till one of you gets to 5 goals" he says." I thought you said till 2" i ask."yes i know but i decided till 5 to give more of a challenge unless your worried of getting beat buy her" he says smirking."
