Chapter 10: Hero Names!

I wake up the next morning, eat my breakfast and head out the door.

"I'm probably going to be late from now on because of Endeavour's training... sorry Mom," I say.

"Don't worry, honey. Just be really careful at night, that's all I'm worried about. Other than that, go have fun!" she says.

"I will!"

I walk into the classroom and sit in my seat to wait for Aizawa-sensei.

"You seem happy today, Todoroki-kun," I say.

"Yeah, I didn't have training yesterday," he says.

That makes me smile. I'm so happy. "That's really great!" I say.

"Yeah, it's nice to have a break," he says and smiles. I look away to hide my blush. He looks so good. His smile is priceless.

Aizawa-sensei finally walks into the classroom.

"Today, we'll be choosing your hero names. But I'm not good at this kind of thing, so Midnight will be helping you," he says. "oh, and try to keep it quiet, I'm trying to sleep,"

We all collectively sweatdrop.

After many discussions, it ended up as:

Aoyama: can't stop twinkling

Mina: Alien Queen --> Pinky

Tsuyu: Froppy

Kirishima: Red Riot.

Kaminari: Chargebolt

Jirou Kyouka: Earphone Jack

Shouji: Tentacole

Sero: Cellophane

Ojirou: Tailman

Satou Riku: Sugarman

Hagakure: Invisible girl

Yaomomo: Creati

Todoroki: Shoto

Tokoyami: Tsukuyomi

Mineta: Grape Juice

"Okay, now that everyone has decided on a hero name, I'll go over the results for internship offers."

Todoroki Shoto: 4123

Bakugou Katsuki: 3556

(L/n) (Y/n): 1412 (Does anyone watch Magic Kaito or Detective Conan? No? Okay I'll just go hide..)

Tokoyami Fumikage: 360

Iida Tenya: 301

Kaminari Denki: 272

Yaoyorozu Momo: 108

Kirishima Eijirou: 68

Uraraka Ochako: 20

Sero Hanta: 14

I look at my list and find one of the first ones to be Endeavour's agency. I guess I don't really have a choice but to go there. I just hope Todoroki doesn't go there.

During lunch, I talk to Ochako-chan. I tell her about Todoroki's childhood, I tell her about my plan on distracting Endeavour's attention. She looks so shocked.

"Are you okay, (Y/n)-chan?" she asks, worried about me.

"Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about me..." I say. "Please don't tell Todoroki-kun about this."

"Okay, I won't if you don't want me to, but are you sure about this?" she asks.

"Of course I'm sure," I say. "I'm so happy I'm able to help."

"Okay then..." she says.

The rest of the day ends swiftly and I head to Todoroki's place in the speed of light so I'm not caught on the same train as Todoroki-kun.

I get there and Fuyumi opens the door for me again.

"Hi!" I say.

"Hello, (L/n)-chan," she says and smiles.

"Fuyumi-san, (Y/n) is alright," I say.

"Oh okay," she says, "Then come on in, (Y/n)-chan,"

I walk inside and use the guest room to change again. I go straight to the exercise room and see Endeavour waiting for me.

"Oh you're quite punctual," he says slightly impressed.

I smile and we get right to training. Training is harder and tougher today. I'm super tired but I don't say anything. I can do this. I'm fine.

Fuyumi brings me some Pocari Sweat and energy bars half-way through the training again.

"Thank you so much, Fuyumi-san," I say while I chug my Pocari Sweat.

"Are you okay?" she whispers to me, "if you need a break, you can ask for one you know..."

"Thank you but I'm okay," I say again and force a smile, "I told you, I'm stronger than I look,"

"Okay," she says with a slight smile on her face but her eyes say differently, I can tell she's worried. "Don't worry," I tell her one more time.

She finally laughs a little, "You saw right through me," she says, "Okay then, call me if you need anything,"

"I will," I say and my training restarts.

I get home and do the same as yesterday. Take a warm shower, stuff myself with food and sleep.

Today was a little bit more tiring, but if I'm helping, I have no regrets. Absolutely none.

(A/N 3rd chapter in a row! I'm sorry this chapter was ridiculously, unbelievably short. The next one will probably be short as well, but not as short as this one, hopefully. I didn't want to merge the chapters though, it didn't feel right. The last two before were a little longer so please just think it adds up. Sorry and thank you!
