I am guilty of always choosing the bad boys when I have so many good guys knocking on my door, and I am sure many girls can relate. I guess its something about a bad reputation we can't resist, a little rebellion I suppose. But why do we choose the bad guys and risk getting our hearts ripped apart when they move on to the new flavor of the month instead of giving the nice guy a chance? Is it because we are scared they are too nice, which I don't think can even be a thing, or it is because we are scared to fully allow ourselves to be treated the way we deserve sometimes.
As a girl, I am very guilty of choosing boys with a bad reputation. I would always make up excuses when they would treat me poorly, and put them as my first prioirity to keep them interested, and would turn down all the good guys if it meant getting hurt by the bad boy again. So for once in my life, I decided to give the nice guy a chance.
When I decided to chose the nice guy, I feel like a whole new world has opened. I am not hidden like a dirty secret. I am not one of many girls that he is talking to, and I am not treated like some booty call. Instead I am with the little things in the life, such as my favorite snacks and a book I had been on the hunt for, and I am treated like I am truly cared about. It is an amazing feeling.
So ladies, if you are one who seems to always be attracted to the bad boys, do yourself a favor and give the good guy a chance for once.
