It is the following morning. Rebecca saw on the news what Artemis did, and she sees that Artemis committed suicide by drowning herself in the river. She learns about the abortion, and she can do nothing, but cry.
Artemis was too tied up in an illusion of seeing her dead daughter. Four lives were taken: Jennifer, Steven, Dr. Michael, and Artemis. No one listened to each other, or supported each other, and that's why things turned out the way they did. Artemis' post traumatic stress disorder led her to believe that her hallucinations of Jennifer was real when it was just merely in her head, and this brought her life to an end. This is a story of the character who was TRAPPED in a ILLUSION.
