I walked through the gates and made my way to the steps and eventually entered the building. It looked so different to my last school. It looked like... my type of school. It looked like I was meant to be here. My last school was too fancy. All the people there were eager to learn and as soon as we got back to our dorms they did their homework and I was sat there eating pizza and Nutella. This school seemed like a Nutella-eating kind of school.
People swamped the hallways, standing and talking to their so called 'friends' or eating there boyfriends to death. Ech. I hate DPA (display of public affection). They could've waited until they got home and did it then. But no. They couldn't handle the temptation. As always.
I walked around for a while. Then I realised I needed to find out where my locker was. So I went to the school office and asked the teacher where my locker was going to be. Mrs Anslow was her name. She was the learning mentor for my grade. I walked out of the office and started walking and scanning for locker 2808. After 25 minutes of walking around searching for it, I eventually found it. I opened it up and started putting my stuff into it. It didn't take me long, because I never left a lot in my locker because of people getting into them and stealing stuff.
I decided I was going to stand and wait for the school bell to ring. So that's what I did. That was the first time I saw him...
The first time I saw the boy of my dreams. Long, chocolate brown curly hair. Not too long. Not like shoulder length. Just past his ears. Bright blue eyes that glistened like sapphires, and blinding white teeth. And his nose. Oh my god his nose was sooo cute! He was wearing a Mayday Parade band t-shirt and a red plaid flannel. With skinny jeans obviously. He was stood about 3 metres away from me with his friends, talking and laughing. His laugh was enough to make anyone smile. And whenever he did his hair bounced up and down and his eyes turned a brighter shade of blue. I stood in front of my locker and smiled like an idiot.
The bell eventually rang after, what seemed like an eternity, of slyly staring at this boy out of the corner of my eye and appreciating his existence.
As soon as it rang I turned to shut my locker, and he did the same. As we turned to walk to home room our eyes locked on one another's. When the stare broke he smiled and I gave a small grin back.
My heart was racing and I knew I was on cloud nine. I felt myself starting to turn red so I took a deep breathe and made my way to home room.
