Part 1, Same Old Dangers

Ally's pov

"Should I hang these here?" I asked my older sister Veronica. I was helping her put some wall lights up in her room. "Yes!" she said cheerfully. "Is it weird that I get so excited about a simple thing as wall lights?" she asks. I laugh. "No, not at all. I get excited when I change the color of my nails." I say. We laugh together. Then we hear baby Everleigh start crying. (Baby Ev is from Life of Varchie, she's Veronica and Archie's baby, Ally's niece) "Oh no baby Ev is awake. I'll go get her." says Veronica and she runs off to take care of the baby. I sit down and pick up my phone.

Austin- Hey, you up?

I look at my phone and see that it's 12:35 a.m. Geez, I didn't even realize it was this late.

Me- Yeah, is everything good?

Austin- Look outside your window.

I walk to my room and look out my window to see Austin surrounded by candles holding a white rose. He smiled up at me. My heart warmed and I couldn't help  but smile. I ran down to meet him.

"Hey, what's all this for?" I ask with a smile still on my face. "Well, you're my girlfriend. And you're the best. I couldn't help but do this for you. It's a reminder that there's no other person I'd want to be with except for you." he says smiling handing me the rose. "I think by this we both know that you're the best." I say. "Thank you so much, you're the best boyfriend ever." I say. "I love you." he says. "I love you too." I say. He pulls me in and kisses me.

Veronica's pov

I held baby Ev bouncing as I walked. "Mommy is putting up some wall lights in her room, that's fun isn't it?" I ask cheerfully. She giggles. "Girl, you are just too cute." I say laughing. "Aunt Ally helped me put them up! She's the best isn't she." I say walking down the hall, then see that Ally's room seems very bright. I go in and notice the lights coming from her window. I gasp and my heart melts at the sight of her and Austin hugging. "Oh. My. Gosh!" I say staring out the window. "Aww, look baby Ev! Aunt Ally's boyfriend surprised her." I say pointing out the window. I pull out my phone and take a picture. I look at the picture and smile.

Ally walks back in and I'm holding baby Ev still. "Okay... that was the cutest thing I've ever seen!" I say. "You saw, huh?" she says laughing. "Yep! And I got a picture too." I say showing her. "Woah! Okay miss photographer, this is an awesome photo!" she says. "Thanks! I was walking down the hall with baby Ev and I noticed your room all lit up from those candles." I say. "Oh yeah." she says. "I can't get this little one to fall asleep." I say. "Want me to give it shot? So you can start getting ready for bed?" she asks. "You are a lifesaver, thank you thank you thank you." she says. I hand Everleigh to her and she giggles. Ally laughs. I smile and walk off.

Ally's pov

I sat in a chair in my room cradling baby Ev as she started falling asleep. Veronica walks in drying her hair from the shower. "You're a baby charmer, I can never get her to fall asleep, thanks so much Ally." she says. "Of course, never wanna miss a chance to hang with this cutie." I say looking down at the sleeping baby in my arms. I set her down in the crib and change into my pajamas. After brushing my teeth and saying goodnight to Veronica, I fall asleep.

I wake up to the blaring sun peering through my curtains. My phone is practically exploding with messages. I pick it up and take a look at them.

Emma- ALLY!!! Did you see the news?!?!

Emma- Hello???????

Emma- Wake uppppp.

Emma- Earth to sleeping beauty?!?!

I jolt up wondering what could be so important.

Ally- I'm up, I'm up! What's going on?

Emma- Remember the black hood? The one that almost killed your sister and her friends but you saved their lives?

Ally- Yeah?

Emma- He's on the loose. He's back.

My heart sinks as I read that last text. He's on the loose. He's back. The man that tried to kill my sister and all her friends is back.

Ally- What?!?! How???

Emma- He broke out of prison. We're dead! Well, I guess you have your powers. You can help save the town!

Ok so here's the thing. I have a close relationship with the lord and when I was young, he granted me with his powers. They are supposedly called the powers from the lord. Just a little filler.

Ally- Oh jeez idk about that Em. My powers can only do so much.

Emma- True. We have to be careful. Does your sister know?

Ally- Idk but I'm gonna find out.

Emma- Okay bye, BE SAFE.

Ally- You too, thanks for telling me.

I vividly remember that horrifying moment when the black hood almost killed Veronica, Archie, Betty, and Jughead.

Flashback
Veronica's pov
It was the black hood. Archie pulled me closer to him. We hoped he wouldn't spot us. But he did. He walked closer and aimed his gun at us. This is it, I thought. He's gonna shoot us. Seconds before he pulled the trigger, Ally arrived at the doorway. "Hey!" she yelled. The black hood turned around immediately, startled. She thrusted her head to the right, using her powers of the lords help to send him flying across the room. He tried to get up but she nodded her head quickly to push him back down making him go unconscious. Betty and Jughead's mouths dropped cause they didn't know about Ally's special ability yet. "Ally oh my gosh." I said coming out from the corner and hugging her.

I snap out of my thoughts and turn off my phone and go to find Veronica. We both weirdly exit our rooms and the same time. "The black hood is on the loose!" we say simultaneously. "How did you know?" she asks. "Emma, how did you know?" I ask. "Betty. Ally, the time when the black hood was here was the most dangerous time in history for us. I can't have him hurting you or Ev, so I need you both to stay in the house  today until we hear more about it." she says. I think for a moment. What if other people need help? What if I don't know? "Ally?" Veronica says. "Yeah, i'll stay here." I say. "Okay, I need you to watch Ev, I have to go talk to Betty and Archie." she says. "What? There's a serial killer on the loose who knows each and every one of you, it's not safe." I say. "It'll be okay." she says grabbing the keys and her phone and leaving. I sigh. My phone buzzes with and incoming call.

Austin- Did you hear about the black hood?

Ally- Yes and my sister just left.

Austin- What? Why?

Ally- She said she had to talk to Betty and Archie, she told me to watch Everleigh.

My phone buzzes with a security notification.

Motion detected on front patio.

I check the camera on my phone, and I nearly collapse at the sight of the black hood trying to get into the lobby of the Pembrooke.

Austin- Ally? Ally?!

I couldn't speak. I was frozen.
