Things have changed between them.
It started around the time Jimin started college, two months after he moved in with Yoongi, radio DJ and boyfriend of two years.
It started around the time Jimin met Taehyung, when his study sessions got later and more frequent. And Yoongi stopped pretending Jimin got home earlier than he did.
Jimin's not cheating, there's no way, he thinks. But when Jimin staggers home earlier than Yoongi's grown accustomed to, he almost thinks Jimin is drunk, until Jimin undresses for the shower and Yoongi eyes the purple and red bites along the inside of his thighs.
That's when Yoongi damns it all to hell and drives to Hoseok's and fucks his long time friend over his kitchen counter.
Yoongi doesn't go home that night, or the next. Doesn't bother answering the calls or texts Jimin sends him.
Then one day his coworker, Namjoon, calls him out of the studio and Yoongi sees Jimin through the glass door. He steels himself when they meet eyes.
Yoongi and Jimin come to a mutual understanding. After Jimin admits to cheating for a month and a half and Yoongi tells him he slept woth Hoseok, they move on.
A week later Jimin moves out and Hoseok takes his place, because really, that's what happens. Another week and Yoongi hasn't heard from Jimin. Then a month or two later Yoongi deletes Jimin's number.
A year later he and Hoseok part ways. Yoongi quits his job then finds another when he moves back to Daegu and keeps to himself for two months, working from home.
Then he meets some girl with a perm, pretends she is a he, with a softer voice and a strong neck, gets engaged and fucks Hoseok at his reception.
Three years later he finds him again and they get drunk together when Yoongi gets her pregnant.
Hoseok apologizes to him, saying that he has someone now and Yoongi removes the hand from his thigh.
He catches a cab home where his wife is waiting for him, and Yoongi tries not to think about how he waited for Jimin before he passes out on the couch.
