"Lilah!" a voice sounded from the other side of the white wall. Currently sitting on the foot of her sky-blue bed, Lilah put down the book she was currently reading, one recommended from her English teacher.
"Yah, what pabo??"
"Stop reading and help me!"
"With what??" Lilah yelled back. Aigoo, this kid, she thought as she got up and made her way to her next-door housemate, her idiot of a brother.
Before fully opening the door, Lilah peeked in and saw papers and toys strewn all over the floor and his bunk bed (they used to share it, but after moving they had separate rooms).
"Oh my god, Max! What happened? Clean all of this up!" Lilah exclaimed after throwing the door open, scattering the papers.
"Chill, sis- these are my English notes..? I seriously need helpppp" He said unhappily as he plopped down into the middle of the mess, pouting.
"You're not being specific enough..."
"Here," Max said, shoving a paper in my face; "Question #10: Jimin couldn't find his jams when he was getting ready to make his PBJ: What happened to it?: A, his neighbor's dog ate it all, B, HE ate them all, or C, he never bought jams in the first place"... After reading a short story about "Jimin's Jams" together, we eventually found together that the right answer was C.
This summer is going to be a long one... Lilah sighed unhappily as she continued to help her brother with his English homework.
