It's not like Harley was unfamiliar with people leaving him. Hell his own father had left and never looked back.
But the naive 11 year old in him thought that maybe, just maybe tony stark wouldn't. That maybe someone would finally stay in his life.
Maybe that's why he decided to go to NYU. It's not like he couldn't have gone anywhere he wanted to, MIT, Harvard, maybe Yale. But he ended up at NYU, the same city as everyone's favorite mechanic.
Currently he was about to start his first day at NYU. No big deal, just the moment he had been waiting for since he was 10 or 11.
The walk to his dorm was short and he had very few belongings. A suitcase with clothes, the clothes on his back, and a toolbox. Just what every college student needs.
He stopped outside the dorm door took a deep breath and pulled out his keys.
Right before he could put the key in the lock the door opened wide revealing a guy.
This particular guy had curly brown hair with soft features and brown eyes. And he was pretty cute all wrapped up in a t shirt with a science pun on it.
"Hi I'm peter parker " the cute guy, peter said.
"Hi I'm Harley, Harley keener"
"I guess we're roommates"
"Yeah looks like it"
The peter guy shot him a warm smile that he quickly returned.
Well, he thought to himself, at least my roommate and I will end up getting along.
Little did he know.
