School

Lumines Pov
6:14 AM

I had make some eggs for breakfast, I hope kody doesn't mind. He never really liked eggs too much but this is all I could really find. (I don't really know if kody likes eggs or not, just something I wanted to add cause why not?)
Just then kody comes downstairs with his hair in a mess. "Kody! I made you some eggs"
"Oh.. thanks lumine"
Kody pulls out a chair and sits down at the smooth wooden table with his fresh plate of eggs.
I sit beside him and we eat breakfast.

6:29 AM

As kody finishes scraping the last of the eggs off his plate I swiftly take care of the dishes and help kody finish getting ready.

Time skip
6:40 AM

I Carefully close the front door as we head out to another day of sleeping in my cold bush.
I hear our footsteps in sync.
I wag my tail in excitement for whatever reason but ingore it and Continue on.
Before we know it we are at school and kody dashes off to the school.
"Ah! Wait K-kody wait for me!"
I race off after him hearing my feet hit the ground loudly and panting I finally catch up.
"Ah.. kody why did you run??"
"Calla was following us"
"Oh.."
Kody grabs my arm, taking me into the school with him instead of leaving me to sleep in the bush.
Tripping over myself I notice where he's taking me. "The bathroom?? Can't you go by yourself?"
"Shut up lumine"
Kody hushs me and takes me into a stall with him. "Lumine"
"Huh? What are we d-doing in here t-together?!"
"Lumine i cant let you stay outside anymore"
"What? Why?"
There is a brief silence between us for a few moments before me asking,
"Is something wrong?"
I notice kody looking down at the ground, he holds my sleeve tighter.
"If you don't hide you could get hurt"
He finally responds looking more gloomy then usual.
"What do you mean?"
"Calla threatened me"
"..."
"She told me if I won't stay away from a mutt like you she'd hurt you"
"Oh..I can defend myself!"
"NO! You can't use that form-"
Just before kody could finish someone walks into the bathroom, no longer alone we stay silent.
Hoping no one heard us.
We hear a familiar voice, "kody? Is that you?"
It's elijah.

Kodys Pov

Shit, shit, shit! I can't let Elijah hear our conversation, he might tell calla! Fuck.
I think to myself hoping lumine won't make a sound.
"Hello? I know your in there kody"
I can hear footsteps come closer to the stall were In, making me panic a little.
I put my hand over lumines mouth hoping to keep him quiet, if Elijah knows he's in here he'll get the wrong idea. I blush a little thinking what I could do in a stall with lumine.
I whisper to lumine, reminding him to stay inside the school and hide somewhere.
He nods his head in response.
Elijahs footsteps fade on his way out of the bathroom, noticing he probably made a mistake.
"Lumine, the bells gonna ring soon.. I should probably get heading to class"
I respond leaving the stall and out into the hallway, making sure Elijah isn't near.

Hello peeps, don't worry I should be on here more often now. This story and my newer one should be updating more recently then they have been. I'll try to make chapters longer as well.
