Working as a cosmetologist you have to deal with all textures of hair, and different nationality of people. I have clients with long ruff hair, good short hair, no hair at all, no edges, and some that just like to stay dolled up but don't need weave or relaxer at all.
I'm the owner of Alluring Styles in Nashville, Tn. I've been a cosmetologist for going on 20 years. I have several clients, and I now offer classes for different things.
My workers include..........
Vicki, she's my oldest of the bunch. I hired her because I loved her spirit she was the oldest of the bunch so she brought wisdom to the team. I loved the way she took her time and only worked as a perfectionist. A lot of clients complained on how long it took her, but once she finished they were always ready to hit the run way. She mastered in cut and curls. She was quiet, yet observant.
Then there's Briohna, she was a more upscale classy chick originally from Atlanta that moved here with her husband that recently opened a business here in Nashville. She knew all the big and small talk on the streets. She knew about everyone business but her own if you know what I mean. She dealt with more of my wig and weave clients. She brought the shade and attitude to the team.
Last but not least there's Shawn. He was a queen, and no one could tell him different. He was a walk-in hire. He begin to tell me how he was looking for a job and were licensed so I took him under my wings. He's still currently in his trial period but his work is perfect. He was more my braider, he mastered dreds and weaves, he was also a beast at cut and curls. He was definitely a keeper. He just wasn't informed of it yet. He brought the class and laughs to the team.
And then there's me...my name is Ivy, let's take a spin in my style seat.
