There was a single master bed in the room. A closet, a bathroom. Yet this was something that puzzled Kiro, a shelve of weapons on the wall. There was a sword, with a black sheathe. A few daggers with a a black sheathe. And a bow, with it's quiver full of arrows. He examined the closet next. In it were; robes, the same robes she wore, but black ones. It also held boots in it. And Hanes socks and boxers.
"You may wear those robes, but first, let us have a lesson of chemistry." She stepped forward and pressed her lips to his.
Kiro didn't know what to think. He barely known her. And if he did that was for 5 minutes! Yet he didn't pull back. Instead he pulled her closer. This was all wrong he knew. But somehow it felt right.
She pressed her tongue against his lip. At this he pulled back. Embarrassed she asked,"What's wrong?"
Kiro responded,"We don't even know each other! That's what's wrong!"
Piper was hurt at this. She had been alone all her life. She didn't need anymore pain in her life. She said,"Ok, I'll leave so you may get dressed." At this she stepped away out the door of his new room.
He felt bad for her. Even he enjoyed it! Yet he chose to pull back. He got dressed and equipped a bow and quiver to his back, a sword at his left side, and 2 daggers one on each side of his robe inside. He looked in the mirror and remembered the time he played Assassin's Creed 3. He himself looked like an assassin.
Piper--though it seemed wrong--had been watching Kiro since the night his mother was taken away. She had known him and his mother, if only a little, since she was 4. The night his mother was taken, she was 9. 19 now though. She estimated Kiro was about 20.
Kiro walked toward Piper, fully dressed.
Piper smiled and looked at him.
The man had a smug expression on his face.
The explosion knocked both of them against the wall.
Piper felt pain. Terror. Surprise.
Kiro didn't know what was happening. He registered a burning pain flaring up the right side of his body.
The man could see his future already. Millions, billions of dollars just for him. A mansion. Life at it's best.
But life would never be at it's best. For him. For Kiro. But most of all, for Piper.
