alot of things are started during childhood.

showing one's creativity.

learning new things.

being aware of your surroundings.

knowing what's right or wrong.

....

finding friends.

that.

is one of the most diffcult to do, even for a simple child..

to find those, most needed to have a good image of themselves to others.

----

"thomas, why won't you go outside and play with them?" aunt patty asked little thomas, who kept clutching to the skirt of her dress. the little boy looked at the small group of playing children outside their house with a look of hesitation. he felt too different from the kids, especially after seeing the cool-looking toys they have. he felt like he couldn't fit in.

at that time, anxiety was already there, along roman, patton, and logan.

virgil felt the same feeling of fear that thomas is experiencing. the fear of being rejected or seen as unacceptable. the feeling was also intensified by roman's audacious ideas like just simply greeting them with a loud voice and presenting thomas like as if he were a prince.

soon of course after bantering so much in thomas's mind, roman and virgil agreed on greeting the kids normally, like a simple 'hello' before making thomas ask if he could join them. after the two sides agreed, thomas's feet rose from where he was standing and dragged him to the group slowly, the young boy forcing a smile on his face.

"hello! can i join your game?" he asked the kids, who stopped playing and looked at him with surprise and confusion. "sure, do you have a cool toy with ya?"

thomas felt himself freeze at that. he didn't know what to say. he never had a toy something similar to their's and always stuck to little marbles or decorative stones.

"yeah!" the words slipped from thomas's lips simply.

"ro, i thought thomas has no toys," virgil looked at roman in confusion. roman also expressed the same feeling of discord. "i.. know that. that wasn't me though who made thomas say that."

the two turned to the other two sides who hasn't spoken up: patton and logan.

patton first spoke up. "eh? i didn't do that either."

"i didn't either," logan then followed.

"it must've been another side," and at that, logan earned a groan from roman. "i swear if it's him..."

with a single wave of roman's hand, remus popped into view.

"what is it now, ro-row-the-sinking-boat?" remus looked at roman with an annoyed expression, still wearing his sleeping clothes since he was woken up.

"mind telling why did you make thomas say that he has toys, even if he doesn't have any?"

"what are you talking about? i didn't do that! i was asleep," remus responded with a look of confusion.

"then who did?" virgil questioned remus, still not believing his claim.

....

no one knew.

no one knew of the hidden side that was away them, silently watching with caution and confusion. he wanted to say that he did it, but the words couldn't just seem to come out. not even the confidence to do so.

"i-i.... didn't."
