Chapter 5:

Carls POV:

This was my worst nightmare.

Blood and bodies everywhere. People screaming, not knowing what to do.

I was at first doing nothing until I heard a scream, and after that the terrifying growl that we all know much to well.

"Trinity! Where are you?" I yelled.

"Over! Here!" She said as she struggled to get the walker of of her.

I yanked the walker of of her and stabbed it in the head.

"You should get out of here. Find Hershel. He could check you for bites or scratches." I say.

She looks up at me with a worried look.

"Will I be okay?" She asks, her voice shaking.

"Of course, now go find Hershel. You'll be safe." I tell her again.

She nods and runs away.

I know I shouldn't but I have to. I go back to the cell to get my gun.

Audrey's POV:

"Angie!" I scream and pull her up.

"Let's get you to Carol, she can handle this." I say as I bring her to carols cell. She was putting stitches in a young boys arm.

"Carol?" I whisper.

"Oh my." She says as she motions for me to leave. I step out of the cell and she closes the door and pulls a curtain down. "Is she gonna be all right?" I ask worriedly.

"I don't know."

"Will she be okay?" I ask Hershel while he is examining Julie's leg.

"She will be up and running again in no time. But for now, she should try not to put any pressure on it. She can use my old crutches, I don't need them anymore." He says as he taps his wooden leg.

I force a smile.

Carl. I have to go see if he is okay.

"I'll um, be right back." I say to Miki, Hannah, Hershel, and Julie.

As I am walking I see a girl passed out, or at least I hope, lying on the floor.

Alissa. { @alissa_102xo }

I went over to check for bites or scratches, she looked clean.

I picked her up and swung her over my back, working out really payed off. I carried her I Hershel, and without a word I went back out to search for Carl.

On my way out I heard screaming.

I looked around and there were two girls outside the fence, rapidly killing walkers, screaming for help.

I ran down to the fence to let them in.

I pulled open the fence and they ran in, as I was trying to close it, the rope ripped in two and the fence was left open, allowing every single hungry walker flood into to our safe haven.

Shit.

{Double update! I thought since these chapters are so small I would put both of them up today. Enjoy! -katie}
