Luna wondered trough the forest. It was midnight. She was alone. Her footsteps were the only sound from the whole place. Not even the wind was blowing anymore. But suddenly, she heard a little noise cover the death silence. She turned around to look, scared and confused. Someone was watching her. The person teleported behind her, and pulled out a knife. Her whole body told her to run, but she felt paralyzed. She couldn't move a finger. She felt a sharp pain in her back, and looked down, to see the truth. The knife was going trough her chest. The blood started racing on the ground, as her heart was faster, and faster. It was only inches away from her heart. A feeling of pure agony hunted her head, as her life went before her eyes. She stood up, and ran, the other person after her. She was knocked down by the human. The person raised the knife once more, as thunder stroke. And for the first time, Luna saw his face, in the storm. He stabbed her once more, and her vision went black. The person she saw, the monster that killed her... She was shocked when she saw his face.

Her brother.

Seto.

The girl found herself in darkness. Surrounded by nothing but black. In the distance, she saw a light, and ran towards it. She felt as her life depended on it, and that she had to go there as soon as possible. She entered the place where the light source went from, to see water. She was underwater. The girl took a deep breath, and walked into the water. The black chamber disappeared, like it was never there. She swam for miles, finding what she wanted to stay away from for the rest of her life... The Squid King's palace. She tried to swim away from it, but an invisible force dragged her inside. As she stepped trough the gate, her skin turned grey, her eyes weren't blue, but black, as her hair. She was... No, she couldn't! She couldn't be... The Squid Girl...

She was locked in a cage, as the spiky walls were approaching. Her end was near.

He woke up, in his city. It was in an apocalyptic form. Confused, he asked for information. Nobody helped him, and no one talked to him. He was wondering what happened, why was the city destroyed. Burned fields, demolished buildings, and, the whole nature was missing. It was maybe covered in coal from the burned trees. It all looked horrible and sad. He saw his friend walking on the street, and ran to him. "What happened?" He asked his friend.

The boy looked at him in pain. "Don't you know?" He shook his head.

"You didn't help us. You ran away. They won."

The boy's eyes widened, tears forming in his eyes. "No... N-no!" He ran away.

He sat by a lake, crying, and praying this wasn't real. Suddenly, an animal arm grabbed his leg, and dragged him in the water. It was a squid. It drowned him to death. "This is how it all ends..." Was the last thought he had.

-----

Light. It was all that she could describe. She looked around, to see the Aether. She saw no one else... But her mother...

Her mother...

"Mother!" She shouted, running to the woman.

"Lorua!!!" Her mother opened her arms, and hugged her. The two sat there, joy filling their hearts. "Darling, you have to go." She said.

"I... Don't want to..."

"Oh, honey! You need to..."

Her mother smiled, spreading her white angel wings. "I haven't seen you in a while. How is it going?"

"Well, I joined the Sky Army, and met new friends." Lorua spread her black ones.

"Only friends?" She smiled.

"Mom!" Lorua laughed. "There is someone..."

"You can tell me."

She smiled, relived. "His name is Sky... I kind of have a crush on him."

"I am so happy for you! I want my daughter to be happy."

Lorua's smile slowly faded. "Mother, is this a dream...?"

Her mother sighed. "It is. But it's real at the same time. As long as that's the only way I can see you and talk to you." She looked sad. "You see, you're different... When everyone has nightmares... You have a different point of view for many things... And this is a nightmare..."

"I know..."

"You do... You do very well. This is goodbye, Lorua. And remember, stay strong."

"I will, mother."

"I love you."

"I love you too..."

She turned around to leave, when her mother grabbed her shoulder. "Lorua, remember that there's always a way, and always someone to love. Promise me you will."

"I promise."

Her vision slowly faded, as she saw her mother taken away by some people. "No! MOTHER!!!" She screamed. Soon enough, she couldn't see anything.

Was she so different? Why was darkness the thing that represented her? Why was "evil" the word everyone used for her?

The questions remained unanswered, as she lost consciousness, and fell into a deep sleep. Everything went black.
