Part 16: welcome to friendzone

Jackson texts me.

Jax: hey siss where are you?

Me: at my friends house.

Jax: Okay make sure you stay over there. Mom and dad broke up. Dad is moving to New York and mom got really aggressive. She's out of her mind. I just escaped hell. Tomorrow meet me at Starbucks at 5pm.

Me: ok are you sure.

Jax: yeah she got really violent.

I start crying as I put my phone down. Payton hugs me. It feels dangerously good! I've missed it more than anything.

"What's wrote talk to me!"

I put my head in his shoulder.

"My parents broke up and my mom is out of her mind so we cannot go home tonight with Jackson"

"Ohh" he starts playing with my hair. " btw about the bet or -"

"I don't care about it!" I hug him tighter "I've missed this a lot!" I look up in his eyes "just tell me one thing" he looks at me shocked.

"Okay what is it?"

"Is Dylan doing the same thing to Maya?"

"No! He actually likes her a lot. Just like me. I really do like you!" He smiles.

"Well then wtF" he looks at me confused " W T F means Welcome To Frienzone!"

"Ohh at least I'm back to being close to you not as before but still better than before" he smirks at me "friends with benefits?"

I look at him with widened eyes "no!" I roll my eyes "you are actually really addicted to sex Payton! We are JUST friends no more" while telling him this I point my index finger to his chest.

We talk a little and have fun like old times. I feel like we have been broken up for a really long time now but it's actually not true.

"Hey do you wanna stay here tonight too?" He smiles at me

"Yeah please!"

He gave me his sweatpants and t-shirt because it was so unfortunate it that dress. I didn't care. I changed in front of him.

"Damn girl!" He smirks at me.

"You have seen me fully naked. Just please don't act like you didn't" I roll my eyes.

"You are still hot! And I love seeing you in my clothes!"

We are being goofy together and a little later I fall asleep. Today I haven't done anything just talk and have fun than sleep. So I had friendzoned Payton but he wants more. Even I do but I'm just not that ready to have the best days of my life than be heartbroken again...forever!

It's been six months. Jackson and Payton are back to being Bffs. They just couldn't stay without each other. We all grew up together no wonder. I still don't have any ideas why I hated so much Payton before we got together. But before that hate we were like siblings. Probably I just didn't like the thought that Payton changed a lot!

We keep on loosing each other then get back together as friends. Once I made that mistake I'll try to never do it again. But it's one of the hardest things.

Payton again comes over a lot but just to Jackson. He leaves me alone which is good. Jackson loves Payton like his brother and everyone knew that after like a week they will be good friends again. Jackson still told me that if I get back with Payton and go trough that pain again he will kill me.

I'm on the airplane right now. I moved to my dads house. He likes in NY, the college I'll be attending is really close to us. It's been a week since school is over. It's weird living without mom and Jax but I could at least clear me head. I finished school in NY.

I see Jackson waiting for me with Maya. I run towards them and hug them tight.

Speaking about Maya. She broke up with her biggest crush. After what happened to me and Payton she didn't want to go trough that pain too. She felt like he never actually liked her. But who knows. When I moved to my dads house she went to my house a lot to send some of my stuff after me which I couldn't bring. I would never let Jackson go trough my stuff. Well Maya and Jackson met too much I guess and they got together.

I'm happy for Jackson because he couldn't deserve better. At least he won't go sneaking out to meet some bïtches.

"Girl you don't know how much I missed you" Maya smiles at me.

"Well I missed you two more!" I hug them once again then we get in Jackson's car. He drives us home.

"How is dad?" He asks me while our way. It's the most awkwardest silence ever. I'm glad he broke it.

"He is good. He misses you a lot"

"I would say the same but mom is still out of her mind" he parks down in our garage. "The guys are coming over in 2 hours. Turns out they like you more than me!"

" You jealous?" I laugh "I guess I won't have any rest again"

Everyone came over our house. We started playing our traditional game as usual. Truth or Dare. Payton,Dylan and everyone is here. It's actually nice seeing Payton after this while. The first person who spins the bottle is ofc Payton and guess what it landed on me.

"Truth or Dare Bon Bon?"

"Truth"

"Do you still like me?" I roll my eyes. I knew he was going to ask me this but it's still better than when he dares me to make out with him.

"No! Actually I have a boyfriend in New York." I smirk at him. I didn't lie to him I do have a boyfriend.

"Who is it?" he smirks back immediately and asks.

"You were supposed to ask me only one question and you already know more so give me that bottle" he hands it to me and makes sure our hands touch.

I spin the bottle and it lands on Chase Keith.

"Okay Chasey! Truth or D-" he stops me immediately and says 'dare'. " slap Payton instead of me"

"Wait why?" Payton asks.

"You know it well Paytoner!"

"Oooo Paytoner!" Almost everyone says this.

" I'll gladly slap him!" He smiles at me than I thank him.

We have been playing for a while but at the end everyone just made out with someone except me and Payton. I actually wanted to get him slapped because all he did in those moments while I was away, texting me for nudes.
